Ben Johnson is the first Minardi to set a time.




11th for Johnson, Minardi have got to be disappointed with that, especially after Scala's stunning win in the sprint race.
Snake have had to wait a long time before sending out their second car.




11th for Spencer.
So here's the first of the Shadows with their new Mercedes engines.




7th for the S7 testing champion Kederer on his race debut.
Pedersen is next up.




Midfield for the Dane.
Former champion Warrington did a Mansell in retiring from racing only to decide not to and sign for one of his former teams.




17th still not good for Minardi after their celebrations yesterday.
last but not least we have Greidanus in the second Shadow Mercedes.




6th place for the Dutchman.

Snake Motorsports certainly suffered from the mix up with the bridgestone tyres, We lost valuable time on the tyres since the sprint race we were forced to go with bridgestone instead of our chosen Pirelli's. This gave us a wiped slate for the main race and it has hurt our drivers here for sure. 13th and 20th is really bad and the only hope we have is to go forward during the race.

Very happy with that result, especially with the AMRs so far back. Let's push for the win!

This single-lap qualy already shocked the grid!

Luckily I kept my qualy pace in the new car and grabbed a top 10 now the race is on, and I aim at a good debut points haul!



Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps

Oops, didn't realise the championship had started up again.
12th in qualy, disappointing with my team mate on pole.

5th is awesome, shame I dropped so much time in S2 though, I could have been even further up!

We do single lap qualifying now?

Nonetheless, a very good outing for us MPR boys!

7th and 11th places... so good for a beginner team!!

A little bit disappointed with 13th, I lost a lot of time in sector two. Sunday's another day though and I should be able to fight for a decent points finish with a little bit of luck!
