I cant believe I missed out on a point by 1 place. Oh well, not a bad start I suppose, could have been better though.

Well, Mr. Copeman, I can only encourage you to have another look at the rules section on P1

There were some changes this season, partly including also a new points system...

But this request is valid to everybody, please.

Race Day (Part One)

Welcome back race fans to the Albert Park circuit here in Melbourne

for round 1 of the GrandPrixGames SuperLeague.
The Aussies have donned their sun cream and are impatiantly waiting

for some on track action.
The cars are lined up with Joseph Gilson on pole position in his

first race, will the occasion effect him at all?


And they get away with a tremendous roar from the engines and the

crowd. Gilson as got off to a flier!


A bit of bumping and barging at the back as the pack jostle for

position.


Maverick has made up four places already with Greenhalgh rather left

behind in last place.


Back up front and Gilson leads from Edwards and the two MPRs.


Looks like a little falling out at Team Shadow.


They didn't knock each other off, but its allowed Legge and Rodríguez

to make up ground on the pair.


The first 5 seem to have broken away from the rest due to that

incident between the Shadows.


Kederer makes another attempt to pass Greidanus.


They touch again, but no harm done.


Lets look at the standings after lap 1.




Whats happening here with this replay?


Greidanus is taking the long way round. Looks like Kederer has rattled Greidanus.


Rejoins in last place.


Edwards is catching Gilson slightly.


Edwards takes fastest lap.


Alesi, I mean Legge out brakes himself.


Kederer is putting Legge under quite some pressure for 6th place.


Spencer takes a look at Davies' driving style.


Edwards attacks Gilson for the lead of the race.


And we have a lead change.


Greidanus makes another mistake.


Edwards is loving this new TNR as he streaks away from Gilson.


Maverick, having lost a place to Warrington, is under pressure from

Horváth.


Edwards is flying, he takes fastest lap.


Kederer takes 6th from Legge.


Now we have a proper fight between the two new teams from 7th down to

10th.


The Aston Martins seem to be struggling so far, Maverick in 18th and

Greenhalgh in 20th.


Spencer joins the One/Demon fight.


Two into one will not go, this doesn't look good.


Oh! Thats gonna get messy!

















Only one question. Why are there now 5 wheels here?


Ah! We are back to 4


No surprise there then.


Davies takes a different line.


Rejoins in 20th position.


20 laps to go.




Rodríguez locks up in the One.


As does Steer.


Davies flat spots is tyres again at the same corner.


Pedersen looks to pass Greidanus, who seems to be having a bad time

of it out there.



Spencer uses Davies' car as an extra brake.


And takes 20th place


Davies now in 21st.
