It's race day with Team China on pole together with Team Italy on the first row:
Only 2 lights to go before the race starts:
And it's GO GO GO:
Team Japan has a great start by passing Team Argentina:
Also Team Bulgaria and Team France are moving a place up:
Team France now tries to pass Team Canada:
Team Portugal passes Team Mexico and Team Monaco passes Team Japan:
Team USA passes Team Germany and Team Ireland passes Team San Marino:
Team Montenegro is now last after being passed by Team Spain:
Team San Marino attacks Team Ireland to regain the lost place:
Team Ireland defends 18th place with success:
Team Bulgaria has passed Team Fuji for 10th place:
Team China sets the fastest opening lap:
Team Portugal going for 3rd place in the race:
Team Portugal touches the car of Team Australia in T1:
Team Australia loses control of the car and slams hard in the armco barrier:
Team Australia is out of the race:
Team Great Britain is going wide in T5. Team Portugal is still in the race after the collision, but they lost a lot of places:
Team Great loses a place to Team San Marino and Team Portugal's car has a damaged rear wing:
Team Great Britain has lost another place to Team Germany. It seems that Team Fuji has lost the front wing of the car due debris:
Team China sets a new fastest lap in the race:
Team Bulgaria and Team France have gained the most places after 3 laps:
Team Portugal and Team Fuji are in the pits to fix the damaged parts of the car:
Another fastest lap for Team China:
Not for long though, with fresh tyres Team Portugal is the fastest nation on the track:
They go now even quicker:
Team Monaco is going wide in T6:
Without damage Team Monaco rejoins the race, but they lost 3 places:
At the s/f straight Team France is under pressure by Team Monaco:
At T1 Team Monaco passes Team France with a clean move:
Now Team USA has a go at Team France:
Missed by the cameras, but race control confirms that Team France lost another place to Team USA:
Team USA has also passed Team Monaco:
Team Japan makes the 1st mandatory pitstop:
Followed by Team Germany:
Race leader Team China pits also. Team Italy is now the new race leader:
Team France, Team Canada and Team Spain are also making a pitstop:
Real spectacle, the top 4 of the race are pitting at the same time:

New race leader Team Monaco is making a pitstop. They are followed by Team Finland, Team San Marino and Team Great Britain:

Good start to the race for China. Early fastest lap (until Portugal took it), and race leader after the 1st stop. I just hope we can keep this pace up for the rest of the race.
For now happy, we come 5th with good boost, I hope we continue that way for the rest of the race...

The car slams the wall and shoots to the other side of the track without the left wheel and suspension:
Team Spain is out of the race. In the distance there is another car standing still at the left side of the track:
It's the car of Team Portugal, also without a left wheel and suspension. The car lost control by hitting debris from the car of Team Spain and kissed the armco barrier:
It's race over, what a complete drama for Team Portugal in their home race:
What is happening now? Team Fuji pulls the car to the side of the track:
The car comes to a halt with Team Monaco rushing by:
They are out of the race with a broken transmission:
Team Japan is going wide in T7, the fast right hander:
They keep the car under control, but Team Monaco and Team Finland are getting nearer:
Team Argentina starts pressuring Team Netherlands:
Team Canada has also a moment in T7:
They escaped unhurt, but now have to deal with Team Germany, Team Great Britain and Team Ireland:

Plenty of cars retiring around the circuit, and we are still out in front. Looking good so far.
Nice dispute we have with Maikel... Renault please... Don't fail me...
I think Team Ireland is currently 15th, not looking too good.

Team China takes the chequered flag and wins the Portuguese GP at Estoril. A deserving win with a stellar performance:
