Tbh I hardly noticed the Ferrari one, but the RBR one you can see it clearly. Yes its hard to tell 100% but I tend to look at the winglets at the end of the wing and you can see them going down and up even when the car is on a straight. Down at speed and then back up when the car is slowing down.

But credit to them it passed the FIA tests so there is bugger all anyone can do apart from getting the tests changed. Will be interesting to see how many other teams fail the test then, remember when Ferrari and Mclaren complained about the rear wing on the BAR. Ferrari and Mclaren also failed the test and had to change theirs as well :)

Yeah... if Ferrari are going to use their "flexi" wing here is going to be more about weather it works in the grand schemes of things on their car here. Since it is currently officially legal, any future legality issue is not going to be of any concern to them.

It didn't concern them much playing around with the position of their cars at Hockenheim in-spite of that being illegal :P

Latest info on the redbull flexible wing is that it also pitches forward under aero load as well as flexing

Going into turn 2 the left hander every single lap the Mclaren is lifting the front left wheel, that is how stiff they are running their cars.

RBR look so strong with time in hand, alonso was totally on it to get the time he got.

Mclaren said they were happy with the times they got today.

I still think this race is between Webber and Vettel, but if Alonso can split them then there might be a close race.

Even at tracks where Red Bulls have been dominant over one lap, other teams have been closer in the race, so I wouldn't give them the win yet.

Looking at the FIA times, looks like Mac did both high-fuel and low-fuel. So simply way of the pace here.

Guess it's another Alonso-RBR battle, but we'll see tomorrow :)!

No rain looking to threaten :(!

Not watched the FP yet but will do later.... ahh I LOVE the BBC! Legard is a small price to pay for awesome content for the fans.

Hopefully Massa too... i'm cheering for Webber though!

i think is safe to say after all these years that those weathers predictions are horrible in F1... they never nail it... i think is safer to go 50 - 50 in all them races and they'll probably hit a lot more...

i wish Massa and Webber get the first 2 spots, followed by Alonso and Vettel, and a dnf from Hamilton, just to spice things a bit for the break

Did someone leave white paint all over the track? Looks dangerous.

It's cement dust. There was an engine failure in the Formula BMW race. It soaks up oil and water.

I think Renault is improved significantly and is on same level with McLaren.
BTW, is there any photo of RedBull flex wings? F1.live said that it almost touches the track.

Renault have improved, but i think the car suits this track as it did Monaco, and likewise I think the Mclaren doesnt find this circuit too helpful.

No doubt renault have improved though, but I think once we get back to the higher speed tracks Mclaren will be ahead.

RBR look untouchable. Seriously, F2004 and F2002 dont come near! After that Ferrari are all alone, but after them its mega close with Merc, Mac and Renault.

Petrov looking dangerous too which is good to see!

Qualifying should be best session of the weekend :p

i agree marcl. also I would love to see horners face when mark and seb are battling and he gets a call from dietrich… “mark you need to save fuel” I bet will be the radio call

if mark was asked to hold station and not challebge seb for the win, would that be team orders?

no not really, as this holding position happends in every team even without orders (unless if mark is in front and vettel trying to overtake him of course) :) it's not the same thing as asking some one to move away and let other one pass you.
