I think Heikki will definitely get a drive somewhere, if he wants to. Force India, Sauber, Manor, Lotus, USF1, Campos all have seats available, and would value someone with experience and good speed.

yeah honda withdrew from f1 and brawn were bought, so they will have numbers 3 & 4 next year :)

Just like when Renault bought out Benetton and returned in 2002 with 14 & 15

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22

Think with Brawn though it might have been that they got the last numbers as the deal was made so late, other teams already used the numbers they got in testing, think thats the true reason they got the last few numbers.

Crikey, things are exciting now!

Latest updates:

- Haug suggesting not to 'expect' things or to assume driver lineups as there could be some 'surprises' in store.
- Schummi steps down from Ferrari F1 role properly, despite being announced long ago to be concentrating on the road side.
- Rumours Schummi could be involved with the Mercedes F1 team - lest we forget that the Mercedes Racing team was where he began!
- Villeneuve is undergoing an intense fitness regime, likely he could be in the USF1 cockpit next season.
- Renault rumoured to be selling 40% of the team to some Russian Millionairovsky. Thus Petrov likely to get the No.2 Renault seat.

Some rumours about Schumi to Mercedes creeping in with this whole 'not on the F1 side' thing. Which I think is rubbish personally, but discuss at will.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

Yes, a massive week, and its only Thursday!

- Haug suggesting not to 'expect' things or to assume driver lineups as there could be some 'surprises' in store.
Could this further the developing Kimi rumour?

- Villeneuve is undergoing an intense fitness regime, likely he could be in the USF1 cockpit next season.
Wouldn't surprise me if he got that drive. He at least has some presence in North America, and also would give the team some credibility

- Renault rumoured to be selling 40% of the team to some Russian Millionairovsky. Thus Petrov likely to get the No.2 Renault seat.
It would be good for them to secure the future of the team, but I think Kovalainen or Heidfeld would be a better option as a driver. Money talks however.

Well, perhaps had Rubens stickied to the team a little more he would have stayed at Brawn now Mercedes.

Yup! Went to Williams instead of picking between Brawn and McLaren, he's just not very good outside of the race track.

I guess Gui refered to Rubens being "unlucky" when it comes to pick a new team.

So the ill-fated Qadbak deal is off, but its good to see that Sauber's plans to field a team again are on-track. Hopefully they are granted a place shortly, and I think they could still be quite competitive in 2010, as long as their preparations haven't been too damaged by this period of uncertainty.

Sutil and Liuzzi to remain at Force India for 2010

Force India have announced that Adrian Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi will continue to race for the team next season. The squad is hopeful that continuity in their driver line-up will be an important factor in the success of their championship challenge in 2010.

I'm curious if Sutil and Liuzzi will pull it through. They are both decent drivers, but I never had a great feeling about them. I hope they can score some points next season.

So what's gonna become of the Toyota entry? I've heard rumours of a buyout but nothing has come of it...

We should all chip in and create a GrandPrixGames.org team!

Maybe that race will be a little bit interesting because its the first.
It's better to ask if there's a reason to drive in Bahrain.
