"Jenson Button agrees to join McLaren on three-year, £6m-a-year deal"

Me likes. Hopefully going to be official soon.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

"could sign", "The Guardian understands", "sources close to McLaren hinted".

Nice how it seems to be just rumours which the reporter is trying to make look like facts...

Glocks signed for Manor.

I expected him to be at Renault. Guess that leaves the door open for Heikki at Renault again.

Yep: [www.planet-f1.com]

Good to see Timo as the lead driver for a team, he's shown some real promise during his time with Toyota. Just hope Manor are competitive enough to allow him to keep moving forward.

He's shown to be quick but inconsistant. I reckon leading a new team could really mature him up. Good move, though I still would have prefered him at Renault who are likley to be more competitive.

Yes, that's true.

Ross Brawn still seems to want Button. "His best future is with our team, where he has a good group around him, and there's a lot to be said for that. The logical thing would be for him to stay with us, but of course logic doesn't always prevail."

If Button does change his mind again (as already mentioned in the last few days, he has done this before), I suppose McLaren would have to go back to Heidfeld or even Kovalainen.

Interestingly, that article also claims that Raikkonen will "not be in F1 next year." I'd have liked more on that rather major point, and I'm still hoping it's not true.

All main F1 websites have confirmed both, JB is at McLaren and Kimi is not in F1 for 2010.

So Ferrari will get 5/6 for 2010!

Raikkonen and his managers already yesterday confirmed he wont be in Formula 1 next year, McLaren was his only option all the time.Looks like there wonte be any finnish drivers on the grid next year. Heikki's chances are Renault ( but they will sign Vitaly Petrov because of the new Russian owners according to TS)and then the new Sauber team that maybe wont even be on grid next year, so byebye Finland from F1.

Mercedes drivers will be Rosberg and Heidfeld.

Then, yes. But I don't think Mercedes will be seen as a new team because they over a running team. Honda had more or less stopped to exist when Brawn took them over. I also think Midland for example took Jordans numbers and BMW definately took Saubers.

Ah, I see now the Raikkonen story confirmed. I missed these headlines earlier. :)

I don't think we can assume Heidfeld will be at Mercedes yet. After all, everyone "knew" that Glock would sign for Renault until yesterday.

Heikki could also go to Mercedes but I think it's unlikely.Anyway Norbert Haugh will no longer work with McLaren team, he will focus only to work with Mercedes according to Turun Sanomat.
