wow what a great quali, how awesome it is to be back at suzuka! Always providing eventful surprises
As i thought, vettel got pole and should easily win this race, i expect him to be heavier than the few behind him.
I think the brawns should be given penalties, was dangerous to keep flat out through yellowflag zones with beumi on track even!
Was happy to see Kimi in q3 and driving well, really showing ferrari how they made the wrong decision
and kovy......hearing from his team radio, i think his tone shows he's out at the end of the year!

Brawns are so brave just running one single lap both on Q2 & Q1. As for heikki & timo, thank god they're ok. But for heikki just pushing to hard and braking too late. and timo just lossing it(seems the car is not responding though). Anyways my bets are on lewis and vettel or it could be anybody's race. Expect more accident specially running off cars on 'S'.Great qulify can't wait for tomorrow's
Im betting brawn could repeat a Monza stragety here..hope not!
We seem to have had bigger crashes in qualifying than in races in 2009. It just shows how intense the qualifying sessions are with such a close field.
Should the Brawns be penalised (and they should be), it will certainly make for a fascinating race with them and Webber fighting through the field (memories of 2005 anyone?)

I missed my alarm this morning and only managed to watch Q3. I'll have to catch the re-run of Qualifying later for the full story, so I can't really comment on the incidents.
I expect Toyota will be gutted! It's clear to see that they compromised their race strategy to go for glory and take pole, but they didn't even get that! Now they've got a light car which will probably be passed by Hamilton's KERS off the start-line... they'll be heavily compromised and might struggle to even score points tomorrow. Serves them right IMHO for going after headlines over race strategy.

Iceman-Kimi thats were you wrong. Because he slowed up and went right into the garage.Thats how it happend. And thats the bottom line because Alonso0506 said so.

As pointed out, Alonso was one of them! He was flat all through the yellow flag section UNTIL he saw Buemi round 130R!
It was silly to do, and I do expect something to happen from it, as your man Alonso showed not slowing down in yellow flags can be bad

As pointed out, Alonso was one of them! He was flat all through the yellow flag section UNTIL he saw Buemi round 130R!

Looks like both Brawns, Alonso, Lewis and not too sure who the other is. Those are the drivers ive heard that did not lift.

I agree and thought exactly the same, i didnt think he could get the f60 into the top10 but what a great effort!
Though on the last chicane he went so close to the grass with his tyres, i just didnt want him to repeat of what he did in Australia!

I agree and thought exactly the same, i didnt think he could get the f60 into the top10 but what a great effort!

Speaking to reporters later, the Spaniard admitted he had lifted off when he saw the yellow flag.
"It was a strange qualifying with many incidents and at the end of Q2 also with the yellow flag and a front wing in the middle of the track," said Alonso. "We had been through that mostly all cars.
"I avoided the front wing in the middle of the track and I lifted and I came into the pits and we didn't make it to Q3. I think some people improved their laps but that's the way it is."
Alonso maybe one of those 6 drivers, but then he slows down a bit! atleast! not those brawn gps who where flat ouy on buemi's crash! And i have to say the decision of those drivers made was very highly dangerous!!. What if buemi just got off the cockpit and walk to the racing line of barichello! then he hit him lol! DQ for Championship title!! haha
