I saw an interview with Lucas di Grassi, and he seems to be talking to the 3 new teams as well as a couple of old ones, so maybe he might be an option.

I have a strong feeling Nico will be alongside Jenson next year at Brawn. Either Nico or Alonso.

i doubt Alonso will go there, he thinks Ferrari will be stronger in the long term, and i would have to agree.

But anyway, the current rumours seem to suggest Nico at BMW, but yes, Brawn could be an option as well. I chose Heidfeld there because I think he would be a solid and consistent back-up to Jenson, and would probably be quite cheap to hire.

It would be a difficult choice for Alonso, Rosberg, Glock etc. whether to try and go to the 'traditional' top teams, like Ferrari, McLaren and BMW, or the new top teams like Brawn or Red Bull. You would think that the traditional teams would come back to the fore in the next year or two, but it would be very hard to rule out the expertise of Brawn and Newey in keeping those teams at the top.

Nakajima and Piquet is gone!....Sutil deserve in a better car with a better team.
Raikkonen should retire or drive in rally and Alonso should move to ferrari, but i know that never gonna happen.

Rosberg and Glock...who knows, but if Alonso is in a big team with experience and resources, results always come. I find difficult to imagine Alonso in a Ferrari at the back of the grid. In one way or the other, they find the path to get good results. I don't have any doubt that Alonso in a Ferrari would be among the fastest (and I'm pretty sure Ferrari wants to have him, but their investment in Kimi was so ambitious that now they have to 'suffer' him until the end of his contract or pay him an exaggerated amount of money).
Teams like Red-Bull or Brawn have a good momentum, but I don't know if they can keep it a season long...Brawn is starting to struggle a little bit (although Red Bull has a clear advantage right now).

All these people "predicting" Brawn/Senna is ridiculous.

He had a very slim chance of signing for Honda before they went under, has only loosely been linked with the Brawn drive in pre-season, and hasn't been mentioned since. And yet people seem to cling vainly to that single tenuous link, time and again.

Can somebody tell me why on Earth Brawn would even consider signing a rookie when they will have current drivers queuing up to sign for them next season? And especially one who hasn't exactly set the junior formulae alight?

The Brawn/Senna predictions are utter garbage.

Rant over.

I disagree with that last sentence. Just because Bruno hasn't won a championship in the junior formulae, doesn't mean he hasn't done well and made a real impression. Driving in F3 in 2006, he won 3 of the 4 support races to the Australian GP that year. He then came 3rd in British F3 in 2006, winning 4 races on the way. He won his 3rd ever race in GP2, at Barcelona in 2007. In 2008 he won the Monaco GP2 Feature Race, which is surely the most demanding GP2 race of all. He went on to finish 2nd in the championship, beaten only by Pantano who, given his time in F1 and general wealth of experience in single seaters, should have whooped everybody anyway. Considering results like that, and considering Bruno's general lack of experience in single seaters and his late career start, I'd say he's been pretty friggin awesome in the junior formulae myself.

In other words, he's shown himself to be a talented driver and a quick learner who has a lot of potential, as well as still being young enough.
That's why on Earth Brawn - and other teams - would even consider signing him.

Brawn did go on and say he was impressed by his speed after the test, I do think he is good enough but at the same time I think it would be a safer bet for Nico or Nick to be in the car.

What's that, Nico to McLaren or Brawn?

Haug seems to be hinting that's his desire:

In here it was told already as real news that Nico will go to BMW. Personally I dont beleave it before seeing him driving one of those cars.

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?
