Since we've know, which three new teams will start alongside the 10 current teams, it would be nice, which drivers you want see in which team. Here's my prediction:

Brawn Mercedes
#1 Jenson Button
#2 Bruno Senna

Red Bull Renault
#3 Sebastian Vettel
#4 Mark Webber

Toyota
#5 Timo Glock
#6 Heikki Kovalainen

Ferrari
#7 Felipe Massa
#8 Kimi Raikkonen

McLaren Mercedes
#9 Lewis Hamilton
#10 Nico Rosberg

Williams Toyota
#11 Nico Hülkenberg
#12 Kazuki Nakajima

Renault
#14 Fernando Alonso
#15 Romain Grosjean

BMW Sauber
#16 Robert Kubica
#17 Christian Klien

Toro Rosso Ferrari
#18 Sebastian Buemi
#19 Takuma Sato

Force India Mercedes
#20 Adrian Sutil
#21 Vitantonio Liuzzi

Campos Cosworth
#22 Giorgio Pantano
#23 Vitaly Petrov

Manor Cosworth
#24 Anthony Davidson
#25 Adam Carroll

USF1 Cosworth
#26 Marco Andretti
#27 Graham Rahal

Why aren't Jarno Trulli, Rubens Barrichello and Giancarlo Fisichella in this list?
- For me, there are already too old ;)

Why no Nick Heidfeld?
- Because he is an arrogant bastard. ;)

And what is, when the old FOTA Teams won't start?
- Formula 1 would be dead then for me. :)

interesting list.

i still think Alonso to Ferrari is a done deal for next year though.

Davidson would be an interesting choice for Manor. as he's probably done more miles in an f1 car than the rest of the field put together. :-)

i like the USF1 line up,

though JR Hildebrand in the redbull driver program is starting to look quite useful.

Nothing too far fetched in that lineup.

I reckon Trulli will be in though. And Nick still at BMW and Klien maybe at a new team. Ant a Manor? Hope so! Hope he does have a drive next year, if not he's a great commentator, a win-win :p

Lewis and Nico at Mclaren - Awesome!!!! I got a feeling though Nico will be in for a shout for the Brawn seat alongside Button.

i think Trulli and Heidfeld will survive into next year. Heidfeld could end up at Renault if Alonso leaves i think.

i agree that fisichella will go, i wouldn't be surprised if Sutil goes as well. Mercedes might try to get di Resta or Paffett in again for them.

I reckon Paul di Resta will go back to his old team Manor next year. Manor and McLaren have enjoyed a close relationship for many years (I'm surprised they havn't got Mercedes engines), so it could be a stepping stone for a McLaren seat in 2011. Good predictions though, quite possible.

Nico to Brawn may not be too farfetched, having a Mercedes engine sure means a German guy would be a nice idea. Just don't think Brawn could pay as much as McLaren, and Bruno Senna could possibly come in for Campos or McLaren, I'd say! I also think Alonso has a small chance of going to Ferrari in 2010, with Kimi possibly retiring. I wouldn't doubt on a Nick Heidfeld move to another squad either, overrated driver :p.

If Brawn think they're going to remain a top team for 2010, then I can't see Bruno Senna driving for them. Otherwise, I think that's a very good list.

Robert Kubica is getting frustrated with BMW Sauber, he's a candidate for the Brawn seat. If that happens, I reckon Heidfeld will be kept on at Sauber.

And IF Toro Rosso fail to materialise, as I expect, I don't know who else would be an option. Certainly Buemi has done a great job this season, but maybe he'd become a Red Bull or Ferrari tester or something?

An intersting alternative... Alonso to Ferrari, Webber to Renault and Buemi to Red Bull?

yes, there are still a lot of questions to be resolved.

I think Barrichello is fast enough to go one more year, however, can he handle another year as a probable #2 driver? Also, while Brawn has done incredibly well this year, can they do it again next year or will 'order' be restored again? as a driver, do you want to try and go to brawn or red bull, or back to the traditionally winning teams such as ferrari and mclaren?

And as for Alonso, with an uncertain future for Renault, he will be looking around again. But without an opening at Ferrari which it seems he desperately wants, he might have to wait one more year, assuming Kimi stays until the end of his contract.

Will McLaren and BMW persevere with Kovalainen and Heidfeld respectively? Kovalainen hasn't done that much worse than Hamilton, and Heidfeld has probably outperformed Kubica, but they seem to be under quite a lot of pressure recently.

Nico being at Williams, I cant imagine him getting too much money.

Money is the least of his worrys tbh. I reckon Nico would push JB alot harder, and on top that JB will push Nico alot harder than Kazuki. I am inclined to argue that if lets say JB was in the Williams with Nico this year, both drivers would be performing better than the pairing of Nico and Kazuki. Like RB and JB who push each other and get the most of the car, I cant see either getting the most out the Williams this year. Nico to Brawn fits well.if he goes to Mclaren I cant help but feel he will be 2nd best to Lewis. Like Locke said Kubica could be another one, he seems more a Ferrari candidate imo though.

Webber to Renault has been a constant rumour for a long time! I can see it happening, but not because of Webbers choice :(

i doubt Webber will be offloaded. Like Button and Barrichello, Webber and Vettel are pushing each other forwards, although this seems to be benefiting Webber more than Vettel at the moment, who has had several disappointing races in a row now.

Campos would have De la Rosa and Marc Gené

Looks good, but Heidfeld will either stay or maybe replace Webber.

I would not replace Webber with Heidfeld to be honest. Webber is doing a very good job this year TBH.

i could see them getting Pedro, and i hope they do tbh, but i don't think they would get Gené - i don't think he has anything left to offer. Maybe Pantano could get the other seat, or if they wanted someone younger, Hulkenberg - if Williams don't take him.

for a new team, Pantano and de la Rosa would be quite a decent line-up, and then they could probably groom a young Spanish driver for 2011.

De la Rosa? Not a chance now. He has been out of it for too long imo.

Pantano deserves a second chance imo.

edit - I think we will see a number of rookie drivers come in, but its a risk. a big risk for a new team imo.

Pantano would be a fantastic buy!

Oh, and for USF1, said it before and ill say it again, if they want a good american driver, get AJ!!! Rahal?? pfft. Or if they really want to get the interest get someone like Kyle Busch!! Otherwise imo America will still not be interested in F1.

i think PDLR would be ok guiding a new team through its first year, however having said that, Liuzzi, Klien, Davidson, Sato should be ahead of him on this list.

If Renault quit then Alonso could go to Campos.

Looks pretty good, I dunno about Heidfeld disappearing yet, I've always thought he's been pretty good, just never had the machinery at his disposal to fully reach his potential. I doubt Toyota will be around next year, my hope is that they'll strike some sort of deal with Williams, but that could be just wishful thinking. Brawn and Macca are the interesting ones for sure, who'll pair Jenson and Lewis repectively next year?!

Love the predicted Manor lineup, Davidson and Carroll would be awesome, the car will very probably be off the pace though.

Bring Jacques Villeneuve back!

He has experience and the new rules allow him to show his talent. I have faith in him

I doubt the Toyota lineup will change.

What do you guys thing about Rosberg at BMW? Even though he's one of my favourite drivers, even I reckon Heidfeld hasn't really been up to it much this season, so it's possible that he could lose his seat to Rosberg.
