Spa and Monza are the cathedral of F1. They are unique and they didn´t lose their essence, and (except Spa in 1979, anyway 2/3 of the today´s circuit is part of the original) they didn´t have major changes... Really, change Monza for a silly circuit in the streets of Rome its a stupid idea... what do you want? A circuit inside the Colosseum´s labyrinth?? C´mon, its simply stupid... Now that makes me think F1 its really dead...

The mayor of Monza is already calling for support from others in the entire northern region, Umbria I think. It's not going to go through.

Monza will absolutely be still present! And i have seen the circuit provisional map: it really sucks!

Jesus christ on a bike. Talk about an over-f**king-reaction. They are THINKING about looking into the idea of hosting a GP. There are hundreds of these sort of proposal every decade which don't go through.

It is just another proposal. It won't happen. If we lose Monza it is due to the regulations that are being forced on it, nothing else.

So now the pope wants to see a race, blasphemy. Seriously thought Monza is as historic as Monaco, it just can't go away.

Monza hosted all Italian GP races except one in 1980, so 58 of the 59 F1 Italian GPs were on Monza

Have the race in Rome, just get rid of Valencia/Singapore/Hungary and replace it :P

And on top of that, I read that the race in Rome wouldn't threaten Monzas place on the calendar.

Get rid of Valencia

Christ Almighty! What IS it with you guys and Valencia? You on an agenda to get rid of it or something?! The track's fine, the racing was a bit below par TBH, but that's as much down to the cars as it is to the drivers.

Take away Monaco, we got enough street tracks

Quit Valencia, singapore, barcelona and add Montjuich and Zandvoort

add that new track in portugal. I just hope we can have Valencia as the first and last race in 2010.

valencia needs a few more chances - it should be better when the area is developed a bit more.
