how about we just write "SOFT" in white on the treads themselves and "HARD" in the same place with a different colour instead

Yeah, that's gonna be seen when cars drive 300 kmh ;)
Hhmm that '09 rear wing on the Williams really does remind me on wings from the late '80s early '90s. Think next year could be good. ;-)

Seeing this piece of crap 2009 car being thrown around, coupled with Mosley wanting a common engine, I for sure will not watch next year. I want to watch Formula 1, not this piece of crap that they are trying to throw out there.

I think you already stopped watching a few year back. Did you not see the Honda on the previous page? :P

I still have the hope one of the teams (most likely ferrari, RBR of/and STR) will come up with a smooth, delicate, simple and absolute beautiful car, a combination between the simpleness of the early nineties and the shapes of the 2000s (cokebottle etc).

Who knows ;)

I am sure we all thought the same in 1993 with the thin tyres I remember hating it but you soon get used to it.

I never noticed before but the centre section of the front wing is also to 2009 regulations.

Look how much better it looks lower.

It seems Honda aren't really confident about the safety of their KERS-system, juding by the warning sticker they put on the airbox :P

Where have you been the past few years then? :P

Teams have been placing the centre part of the front wings that low for years since even after the front wing height was raised in the regulations the centre part could still be that low.

can the center of front wing in 2009 actually be low? how i now front and rear wing parts must be flat or no?
and what about exaust pipes, i guess that must go again out like on older cars betwen suspension or so right?

Yeah I was going to say if any team should have horns then it should be Red Bull!

Anyh00.. as far as I know regarding the front wing for 2009, they will now be mounted lower again, and will also be significantly wider. (cue frenzied n00bish reaction at weird aesthetics).

But that isn't all. I think the drivers will actually be able to change the angle of attack of the front wing now, via a button on the steering wheel. A feature that is hoped will enable the drivers to trim the balance of their cars to help them follow the car in front closer through corners, thereby giving a better chance of out dragging them down a straight.

Will it work? Time will tell.
