McLaren MP4-23

Making a nice looking car isn't the main objective of the designers. It's to make the cars as aerodynamically efficient as they can be, regardless of the looks. However when you get both (i.e Jordan 191 for example) then it's a nice bonus

There doesn't seem to be many pics of him actually in the car though does there...?!?!

He (well his helmet) looks well in it though...

I wonder how Fernando's helmet design will look in 2008 - I can't imagine him keeping the same colour scheme he had at McLaren...!!

That's a pretty damn good photoshop. Very clean and if you didn't know otherwise it would convince it was real. Doesn't look too bad either to be honest, though I don't particularly like the wing itself.

Looks nice, well made! Only thing that gives it away is the front wing carry thingies :P They seem to be tilted.

Now that fits... The ferrari wing on the macca looks WOOWOO!

If I'm being pedantic I'd point out that the upper wing appears to have 2 mounts to the nose, but that doesn't necessarily make it less realistic. I expect front wings will have multiple upper planes soon when they get the design perfected for their cars. That must take so much work from the wind tunnel and experimental department as it completely dictates the aerodynamics backwards from that point (and forwards to a degree).

Before turning your eyes to McLaren, first turn your eyes to Toyota TF107. Ferrari front wing design is a copy of Toyota's design.

anyone else notice the MP4-23 using two different noses at the test? sorry if this has already been mentioned..
