no it was supposed to be tuesday but because they decided to make official launch it was changed to wednesday

I think originally it was Monday. Heikki was due to fly straight down to Jerez after the presentation and put another car through it's paces.

God knows then I could have read what they said when they changed their minds.

Orig I think the car was going to just be driven with pics being given to the press.

in that first pic HakkF1 posted, they've put the wrong-side tyres on the car, look at the white arrows on the sidewalls.

I think that Kimi and Heikki both have the same helmet painter, I have seen the signature in their helmets once.

YeAp. Atleast not so long time ago their helmet painter was still Uffe Tagström (Uffe Designs).

It was probably only removed to show the sponsors off anyway. The car looks alot better when the camera flashes (I assume) don't turn the red paint orange aswell. But that happened last year so I knew what to expect anyway.

They are testing using last years wings.

it seems designers dont like to make "pretty" cars anymore what happened to the real nice looking cars of the 60's 70's 80's and a bit of the 90's. there all just to "busy" nowadays and sponsers make them look worse

safety ..that's what happened.

I wouldnt say all those tiny sharp carbon blades improve safety.. Modern cars looks more like they would be made for Carmageddon.

Before cars was made to look like 1 whole package. All shapes did match together.

yeah if they get something that gives them good performance they will use it even if doesnt give a good look

i dont think the cars of this era look that bad. then again iv only been watching f1 since 2003. I kinda like them with all flapping aero bits etc IMO it makes them look quite technical.
