Hehe, not seen that for a while....Barichello currently P1. None of the top 4 have even bothered to set a time yet though.

EDIT: As I cant actually see whats going on, could you describe the conditions to me? I've only got the timing on lol.

Raikkonen's fastest of anybody in S2 by half a second, suggesting he's got it set up perfectly for the hairpins. Practice 2 should be interesting. :)

Everyone knows that million-to-one chances happen 9 times out of 10; indeed, it's a common requirement in fairy tales. If the human didn't have to overcome huge odds, what would be the point? Terry Pratchett - The Science Of Discworld

lol bbc summed it up nicely:

"1727: Because the the FIA have no set penalty for the wet-tyre offence then will one be made up? Fascinating stuff."

If there is no penalty in place then there should be no penalty.

If FIA set rules they need to set punishments in advance, they could have done it in China or Japan.

also..

Article 25.3 of the F1 Sporting Regulations states: "No driver may use more than one set of wet and one set of extreme weather tyres during P1 and P2."

So, now we see. 'Honest' Ron's team continues to lose it's luster. I'm betting on no penalty despite a transgression.

England Expects!

There's no set penalty though, probably only going to be a fine. Anything worse would be ridiculous and it would seem the FIA are yet again manipulating the championship

it's time to give penalty already for Lewis,he has got away from these too many times.

Oh really?

So it's perfectly o.k. for him to break any of the regulations he likes.

It would be ridiculous if no penalty is given to all 3 drivers. (Hamilton, Button and Sato.)

(this is response to covfans post b.t.w.)
