yeah i'd be happy if they removed tyre blankets and just went straight to racing with cold tyres from pitstops, and didn't need a formation lap to warm their tyres and brakes for the start too. it can obviously be done with the minimum ride height being raised from Senna's days.

maybe, but they always harp on about warming tyres and brakes too. and they have only just driven to the grid 20 or so minutes ago, you wouldn't expect something to go wrong between then and the start of the race (although sometimes it does).

Maybe that's the explanation. His brain is a full 2,000 years old, so obviously not quite as sharp as us mere mortals (Senna excepted).

Webber is not allowed to pass Lewis under the safety car. If he hadn't braked he'd have broken the rules.

the rules are too unclear and people are penalised for things others people dont get penalised for its stupid i would say the blame is

25% lewis
15% webber
60% vettel
hope i got my maths right

For one, given the conditions should Vettel not have been concentrating more?

He was concentrating. But the unusual circumstance of the leader pulling to a stop at the side of the track distracted him and diverted his attention. Given that the leader should not have been doing that, which means Webber would never have thrown on the anchors, it's safe to say that if Lewis was driving dangerously than the accident would never have happened.

The accident was a product of

1 - the constant stop start nature of the safety car period
2 - a rookie being put in an unusual situation

The conditions had very little to do with it, especially at such low speed where visibility is much higher than racing conditions.

@ NeilPearson and Gav, are you two blasfeming or I got lost in translation.

If you combine your statements, you're actually sying that j.c. is idiot number 2. Whose number 1 I wonder. Moses?

And this is your statement not mine, so my conscience is clear here.

What is fail. Failure or what?
Does it means that I'm a failure? Or that I simply fail to post a meaningfull post.

Isn't this Brnco not something like a so called "troll", a desperate guy without a life, who only seeks pleasure in irritating other people on the internet, and in this case, on a forum?

Why not ignore him? As his post are mostly useless (sometimes offending), that seems to be the best things to do, as he might post all those shitty comments on purpose, and is just waiting for us to get upset.

@ Chet, Lewis was accelerating and stopping suddenly, he even said he thought someone would run into the back ofhis car, so everytime he slowed, he pulled to the side of the track. Vettel saw him pull to the side so thought Lewis had a problem and was retiring, and while he was looking at him, Webber also braked to slow down so he wouldn't overtake Lewis (and break the rules). yes Vettel ran into Webber, and it's always the guy who runs into the back of someone else's fault, but in this case Lewis was the root cause of the whole thing.

remember Button was only in his 1st season of F1 when he did a similar thing and crashed out at Monza because MS was stop-starting down the back straight, but that was in the dry so visibility wasn't an issue, it was just a lack of experience.

why post something if you're just going to have second thoughts and edit it out again? if you want to say something to someone, say it. don't be a pussy and edit it.
