McLaren was always quick in Valencia, even MP4-19 had a lap record here.

Testing in Barcelona would be a more accurate comparison with other cars to determine its pace.

MP4-22 seemed less chromy than MP4-21 to me. Am I right?

reading autosport the 22 is very different from the 21 in terms of the bodywork. The bodywork is shrink rapped around the internals. Its all very tight

The cars are so heavily regulated that they are not going to change radically from last year. The new cars are all smaller and more tightly packaged at the rear.

this is alonsos car from the jerez test, where he had an mp4-21 nose and front wing fitted onto mp4-22...

I'm sure that will give extra dirty air over the car, and extra drag.

in my opinion thats not the way to test a new car

i like it, i liked the chrome last season and i like this one with the red sidepods. i don't like the orange appearance of the vodafone logo on the suits, but at least they'll be safe walking on the road at night!
