There were 2 wings for the 21, a kimi one and a JPM one.

Alonso is using the JPM one.

The main changes to the mclaren is the rear wing it now has central supports.

I think the side pods are a bit higher and the turning vains.

I dont know what else though I have looked and looked

well car will most likely get new wings for melbourne ...but the problems of the MP4-21 was in the rear of the car so maybe that's is one of the reasons why front hasn't changed so much....

The only differences I can see are the engine cover, the winglet in front of the rear wheel, the engine cover, the chimney (it's huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge!) and the nose. I hope the improvements are all on the inside...

by the way Alonso has already had several problems with MP4-22...even one engine problem and times in valencia so far are :

1. Heidfeld ,BMW 1,12,572
2. Kubica,BMW 1,13,140
3.Alonso ,McLaren 1,13,814

engine cover of MP4-22 is very similar that was used in MP4-20 and in MP4-19B....I think.

I dont see why u are laughing. Problems in the first time out with a new car are just normal. Fisico had problems with his R27 too yesterday... and Massa had problems too, with the gearbox selector thingy, he later addmited.

there was no problems in Ferrari....well I haven't seen any news about it so maybe I am wrong but Ferrari F2007 was also a second faster than F248 F1 was in it's first test :P

yeah, but then i've read something from Massa complaining about overheating and gearbox selectors not working properly, but then he said that it was normal for a new car. Its in a brazilian F1 website, unfortunately.

oh ok well it's no wonder when you look at the rear of the Ferrari ...it's so damn tiny

Would rather have that the an engine going bang after a few laps tbh

Alonso has had already about 3 or 4 differet kind of problems ....so far.

OK, found the text and I translated to english it by myself.

"We had some sparks on engine, the temperature increased a bit, and the sixth gear was stuck for electronical reasons. This kind of problems can happen, but doesnt matter." Felipe Massa after F2007 first laps

ok ,thanks ....he also said that this car is already quicker than F248 f1 was at the end of the last season :P

I expect Ferrari to sort out their reliability problems far sooner than Mclaren will!
