"Kimi on RS in brazil that for me was the best move."

Yes, I remembered that overtaking as soon as I posted my post.

How about Ralf to his brother at the hungaroring?, or trying to get by at Suzuka?

Michael on trulli at Hockenheim, or David to Trulli at hockenheim....

but for me he best one definetley was Michael on Montoya at Brazil..

The move MS done on trulli was not 100% legal.

Barrichello's move on Kimi at Silverstone was easily the best of the year. I was very surprised to see the F1 Racing MOTY overtaking move of the year go to Montoya for Nurburgring move. It was impressive, but nothing like Rubens's devilishly cunning, carefully calculated and outstandingly executed move at Bridge. Rubens is the undisputed king of overtaking in F1.

In terms of specific action, the opening lap of the Italian GP was most brilliantly entertaining we saw all year. Montoya stuck his nose ahead on the outside - a bold and risky move - but Michael put him back in his place by sensationally braving it out on the outside of the next part of the chicane, forcing Montoya to back out of it. Then Trulli looked as though he was going to pull off a move to catch JPM unawares, but didn't have the momentum.

Awww, it sends shivers down my spine every time I watch that footage!

In my mind Ruben's move on Ralf at Silverstone was more exciting. It started all the way from Hangar straight and eventually overtook him at Bridge.

That would have been a better move if RS did not have a car problem. There were some great moves at silverstone.

The move in brazil for me were better due to the rain

Hmm..

Best Moves [for me]:

1. Montoya on Michael in Nuerburgring
2. Montoya on Michael in wet Interlagos
3. Rubens on Kimi in Silverstone
4. Rubens on Ralf in Imola
5. Ralf on Michael in Hungaroring

And a Happy New Year :)

there is a good move by michael schumacher on JPM at interlagos that the tv camera did not pick up, and i saw it on the official review dvd.

michael goes around the outside of jpm in the 2nd sector of interlagos - the few corners before juncao and megulho. it was at the hairpin after laranja.

it was good as michael went around the outside in the wet.

obviously tho he had the bridgestones so it was a bit unfair.

Did you all miss that GP or something? I distinctly remember watching it happen on ITV.

When Rubens passed Ralf at Imola, that was very impressive, too. I loved the way he punched the air after doing it - it's cool to see drivers doing that during races.

@powerhorse:
About schummy over JPM at interlagos:
That hairpin you mentioned is called "bico de pato";(duck peak) wich comes before "mergulho";(diving) and "junção";(junction).Thats the sequence.

I have that move on 2003 brazil gp rewiew from internet (about 3, 4 minutes long). It`s quite good, but Juan was braking too early I think, coz he was barely moving. :)
