Kubica....BAH! Another mediocre talent overhyped for the adoring masses.

Man, I hate Mario Theissen. That guy has to be one of the biggest asses in F1....

Mika Salo (who is Villeneuve's very good friend) told yesterday for finnish tv that Jaques said that F1 is finsihed from him and the reason why he was fired is because he and Mario Theissen didnt come a long at all together.

Nick Fry is a bigger ass than Dr. Mario.

I agree with Jagdpanzer, BMW and Theissen especially have searched for a reason to fire Villeneuve since the day the took over Sauber.
And my opinion on Kubica is clear, I´m not impressed by that guy. He drove a bad race. While others manage to keep on track he spun two times and crashed the car. And dont say it was his first wet race....who cares, if he can´t drive in the wet he shouldnt be in F1!

oh come on, it was his 1st EVER F1 RACE, add to that it was wet.

and he outqualified Nick by 4 tenths.

what did you expect him to do, get pole, win the race and take fastest lap?

I think Kubica did pretty good in his first F1 race, hopefully BMW as made the right move, as it is a team that can become a strong one in next years.

I hope JV not to race in other series, now he needs to take care of his family :)

Time to get the guitar out JV? I for one will miss him. I don't think it's right that drivers should be ousted mid season if they have done a solid job like he has, shows how uncaring and cold the BMW team really is.

Kubica drove a bad race??????????? Ahead of Heidfeld in qualy and finished 7th AHEAD OF MASSA in the Ferrari in his first ever F1 race. MUCH MUCH better than drivers like Fisichella, Klien, Massa or Webber IMO.

Well, if you dont think much of Massa and Fisi who are 3rd and 4th in the championship then I dont know who you think much of.....

Maybe you want him to be at the FA,MS and KR level in his first race

Well Nico had a great first race and now look how he is doing, it's better to wait and see in a few races as to whether Kubica is any good.

Kubica to finish season with BMW

At the Hungarian Grand Prix Robert Kubica replaced Jacques Villeneuve. On Monday the BMW team announced that the Canadian wouldn't race again this season. Robert Kubica will be his replacement for the rest of the season F1Racing.net can reveal.

A BMW spokesperson confirmed to F1Racing.net: "Yes, Robert Kubica will be racing with us for the rest of the season. That is what we have planned at the moment."

Robert Kubica was BMW's third driver. The Polish 21-year-old was many times the fastest driver in the Friday free practice sessions. In Hungary BMW did not have a third driver to work for the team in the two free practice sessions on Friday, but things will change. "We are searching for a driver to be in the car in the free practice sessions," BMW's spokesperson revealed. "We have a list of drivers that we are looking at at the moment and we hope to have one in our car in Istanbul already."

I hope he does well :)

No experienced driver? Heidfeld's in his 7th F1 season now!
