On a dutch site there is now a message that they are started building a chicane this message was posted at 31 mins before the start !!!

Its official there will be a chicane !!!!!

This is the biggest cockup I've ever seen. Schumi will win and take 10 points out of Alonso's lead in the championship, bringing himself back into contention for the title.

Ferrari will get a 1-2 finish and look even better in the Constructors'.

Good point anze89, but Michelin and Toyota must have data that prove it´s not related with Toyota alone.
There is talk about problems also in Sauber and Red Bull.
This situation it´s just ridiculous....
Bridgestone runners, crowd, marshalls, Indy organization, FIA, all they, had nothing to do with Michelin tyres exploding.
If Michelin can´t not bring a tyre that can race, they should not race and that´s it...it´s sad, but that´s it. Nobody has to make favours to benefit a supplier that don´t cope with the situation of the track.
I would say no...no way.
No to new tyres, no to chicane.
If they can´t race...they don´t race. That´s all.
To bad for F1...even more to F1 at USA...but blame FIA, Ferrari or Bridgestone for this situation is kind of stupid...
The only one responsable for all this is Michelin.
Sad...but true.
And if the regulation don´t allow only six car on the grid, cancell the race and race at another date...

Mark webber said in a interview with dutch tele that he will only race if there is a chicane

Personally, I think Michelin should be chucked out of F1 for bringing F1 into severe disrepute.
