Ok, this taken from Autosport.com today:

Outspoken BAR star Jacques Villeneuve has slammed safety at the Paul Ricard test track in France, and has said that he doesn't know why team's bother to test at the track.

"We did some tyre work but it doesn't help much because the asphalt is so different from any of the circuits we race on," he told autosport.com. "Also, some of the corners are so dangerous

JV is like an old dog without teeth. He knows he cannot bite anymore and thus he barks only the louder.

Sorry to say this, I always liked JV, but recently he is not making it easy to like him.

JV is my favorite driver since Melbourne 1996. I like is driving.
But I do agree that it's not easy to like im, because of many of is attitudes! But we've got to give credit because he haves a mind of it's own!!!

Yes, i never forget the amasing overtaking he make on M. Schumacher in Estoril in 1997.

For me, one of the greatest moves in F1 history.

Oh yeah now i remember that move! Is it the one where Shumacher was on the inside of the last turn about to pass a backmarker and JV went speeding past both of them?

In my opinion the best overtaking move was Hakkinen on Schumacher at Spa 1999 (???) where he went around Zonta.

and it was Estoril 96

MViper:

I know that. I was just trying to solve the problem in a mathematical way. Piranha said 1999, so I had to say 2001 to compensate it.

1999 + 2001 = 4000

4000/2 = 2000.

Do you see the brilliant logic behind my post?

I was always under the impression that Paul Ricard was one of the most technologically advanced race tracks in the world safety-wise. Still, Villeneuve seems to think he has to complain about everything these days.

Except about his present inability to stand up and deliver.

"Zonta was with BAR in 2000 - his last year"

Not technically, he did make that Hockenheim race in 2001 after Frentzen was ousted...

What's wrong with Jacques?

That's a damn good question!

There was even alot of talk last year at the Canadian GP, about what might be his problem, amongst the crowd that attended.

I've always liked JV, ever since his days in Cart. He always seemed to go his own way, and did what he wanted, regardless of the nay sayers.

It's too bad that he doesn't seem to have the same exuberance that his father had for F1. (well, until his fallout with Pironi that is)

I dont think JV likes working with the people at BAR. I personally dont think he likes the team, further more he didnt get along with David Richards, and he was against the Firing of Pollack, Therefore I dont think his heart (if he has one, heheheh jokes) is into racing anymore..... I happen to think that he is waiting for a good drive with a Mclaren or a Ferrari, I lean more towards Ferrari because of his father and the history with that team, you have to understand he was raised next to that team, and I think that he wants to drive for them, but not while schumacher is there,

I happen to think that we could see a JV Fisicella combo at Ferrari in a few years time, that would be interesting, but further more, he is just not there, mentally,

Now whats these personal issues I hear about concerning Ralf Schumacher on the other hand??????
