The 2013 Formula One Season

I really wanted to see Lewis have a go in last years Merc so we could get an idea if the car was really that poor.

I read an interview that he tested the 2013 merc on the simulator and said it was not at the level of last years Mclaren.

See this is the thing, most cars this year will just be updates of the 2012 cars.

Merc wont be able to do this or they will have another poor year.

It will be interesting to see just what they do. They need to find over a second just to get level with the top cars of 2012, the top cars from last year might only find a few tenths here and there.

Yes just seen it as well, wonder if they will cover the step when the final version is out? Looked like the noise drop is steaper

The only thing which is red is the mirrors... which weren't red last year....

EDIT: I think that is an old pic from 2012. Which means the mirrors were red...

Apparently they are placeholders for Honeywell but still... yuck

Yeah, the real launch imo is when testing starts. And me, too - my first thought at the McLaren was "...this is exactly the same car as last year!", but there are one or two subtle changes in the car they showed us.

Not a lot of people rate the Force India shape and livery, but I think its one of the best.
