GPGSL Season 9 Track Voting [VOTE CLOSED!!!]

The Season 9 Track Voting will be announced soon. Here is a list of tracks that can be voted on.

Participants may add tracks to this list until October 1st. Then the first round of voting will commence to reduce the list to 25 tracks.

There is a bug in Le Mans Bugatti (unfortunately) : cars are crashing in the pitlane. I don't know if it's possible to correct it.

In Montreal ccline need also to be corrected : cars have to be more on the inside of turn 3 ( if I'm correct), like in real life, to avoid collisions with cars exiting pitlane.

Just to ensure we don't get 40 tracks with one vote, and some obscure lucky track gets two, will there be a re-vote once we have, say, a top 25 established?

Basically a stage 2 refine voting for the final calendar?

I'd vote Tahiti, the track looks mental, I'd expect cars to break suspension on the bumps.

Fingers crossed the GPGSL members vote with 'racing' in mind and not the processional (traditional) tracks that get put in automatically... Zandvoort produces great races!

Won't there be a set number of tracks that automatically make it in? I can see Melbourne and Silverstone retaining their spots as season opener and season finale, but have no idea which other circuits will be automatically in.

I would say pretty much any track by Gildoorf or F1 Virtual is safe to run, for quality and "ownership" reasons.
Regardless, sooooo many to chose from out there!

If I'm not mistaken that bottom track danm posted, pasargada, has issues with one of the last corners. Huge accidents.

Can't believe my reverse Buddh circuit hasn't made it for contention

Lol. I'm not voting for Monaco. Mainly due to it being no good for passing. Don't think I'll be voting for Magny Cours either.

The list of tracks posted, is direct from an Excel sheet i had for the Season 7 voting.... and it has not been updated since then. So, there will be lots of tracks missing off that list.

Whatever tracks get voted in, i hope we can collectively do a bit of quality control on them all, and give them a tick of approval. Some tracks have known bugs, and as long as they are not really bad car killers, i say give them a chance!

wow! I knew about Pasargada but Tahiti... I didn't know. Amazing track!

Guess many amazing tracks, especially fictional, are quite unknown. Guess I'll download some when I'm free and try .

I think there is a mistake regarding "Brands Hitch". Shouldn't it read "Brands Hatch" and "Brinds Hitch"? If I'm not mistaken, both exist.

If I remember correctly, the name is "Brands Hitch" because it's an alternative, or fictional, version of Brand Hatch short circuit

Oran Park should be left out, it's Monaco II regarding the lack of overtaking action. See the race we had with the GPGNC.

You're right there. These two won't get any of my votes, and I hope the others think the same way. There are plenty of other tracks that produce some great racing.
