GPGSL Season 9 Track Voting [VOTE CLOSED!!!]

How about adding in the list some circuit purely oval as the Monza oval?
It would be nice to have one circuit for each season it may be purely oval...

Kind of hope we get a bit of a fresh, new range of tracks on the calendar. Lets all think outside the box a little and go for some variety - as long as the tracks are majorly free of AI trouble

I agree with you Dan. Monaco is good in real life, or when racing on the track when playing, but for GPGSL it should not be allowed in. I would only accept Monaco if it could be a wet race weekend. And why not have one race that is the jewel in the crown for the GPGSL? That's something to think about.

I thought we'd already agreed to dump Monaco as it was totally boring, and isn't Silverstone the GPGSL jewel? The current voting list is on P1, the first round of votes will reduce the list to 25 tracks. Second round to 10 tracks to complete the calendar.

The latest iteration of Silverstone was an excellent track to both direct on aswell as watch Dean's coverage from so I'm pleased to see that it will once again bookend the season.

Must say I really like the track voting system this season.

Greg, I can't see many people choosing Monaco as it was panned as boring by most people last season.

I had an idea to host some pre-season tests showing off some less well known tracks but have had to head back up North where I have no access to GP4.

It's not a case of not liking Monaco - it's a good little racetrack. The problem is that there is next to no overtaking on it in GP4 - so it makes for very boring races. If I recall, quite a few people want it removed from the calendar for that reason.

As has been said already, Monaco is great fun when "you" drive against the AI, because "you" can actually pull off some overtaking moves. The AI against the AI, is lousy.....
