unlucky, lost it on the way in and had to counter-steer.

saw a tiny thumbnail of Ralf's car on F1-live, looks like the front-right wheel was hanging off.

and Ron won't be as upset about the crash as he will have been about the marshall putting his dirty boot on one of his shiny clean cars :)

It looks like the two number 1s at Ferrari and Mclaren are beginning to get on top of their team mates finally.
I think the crash will do Lewis some good tbh as he's been able to get away with small mistakes on other tracks but you can't do that at Monaco without consequence unless you're very lucky.

As i and people have said before he needs to stop locking breaks. In gp2 he locked them alot as well and in f1 he has and this is what caused his off today.

The pic of MS lol he is watching how to go round the corner without parking his car :)

Bit of a worry for ferrari as spyker had 2 engine failures I am not sure what spec engine they are running though I would have thought it would be the same as ferrari

It's just possible that Spyker isn't running appropriate cooling system for the engine though.

Anyway, hope Kimi can win again this weekend.

The engines went wrong near enough str8 away yet were ok in sepang etc so i dont think its cooling.

Lewis is not gonna keep up with Alonso on this race and he should realize it., otherwise i'm seeing him out in qualy as well, as fo Kimi and Felipe, Kimi is going to be ahead for sure, but Felipe is going to be very close to him

Hehe, it still makes me laugh, all the foresight and wisdom ;)

And what should Lewis do with the knowledge that he's not going to keep up with Alonso in the race? Not start at all?
And what problems would it give if Lewis qualifies in front of Alonso, while the whole world knows already he's not going to keep up with Alonso? Pre-race teamorders? ;)

it was Fisi in the Sauber, landed upside down against the barrier after hitting DC in the smoke of Sato's Bar-Honda engine blowup.

when thinking of crashes at Monaco, this one always stands out, although can't find the video right now...

Martin Brundle crashed heavily in 1984 - rumour is he got back to the pits, strapped into the spare car, and just as he was going to drive out, Ken Tyrrell asked if he was alright. Brundle replied "fine - which way does the track go?"

Ken leaned in and turned off the engine....
