Nothing wrong with Alonso's celebrations he needs fuel in the car after the event. What a great Podium....it almost felt like F1 again seeing all that emotion, and those guys there. What an odd event.by Razorsedge - F1
I'm going to go back an Alonso win. He's on the case, and Ferrrari are starting to get in the mood. I've lost hope in a Schumacher result, it just seems at every race where Merc is saying 'This track should suit our car' (China, Monaco, Canada) things go pear shaped for that particular car. I just hope Lulu dosen't take his 'uber speed' pills like he diby Razorsedge - F1
Ross described it as an 'Operational Error', Schumacher's going through a bit of a 'Hamilton' phase with this team at the moment. There's no doubt he'll suffer damage right in the middle of the pack for turn 1 and 2 : A) because he's aggressive and in a quicker car, and B) because he'll expect the younger guys to react a certain way, but they wonby Razorsedge - F1
I think it kinda sucks, but when there's an accident hapenning right in front of you, that's like a roll of the dice. I think the stewards got it right in the moment. I blame Grosgean.by Razorsedge - F1
Well done to Webber! My driver of the day was Alonso. Quiet but effective. Come on Ferrrai...PUSH now! The Racing God's deserted Schumacher at Suzuka 2006. It was such an obvious and complet desertion on that day; it's still obvious. I'm finally going to say it: He never should have come back.by Razorsedge - F1
Fantastic Maldanondo; perfect drive, and great strategy call from the team!! Nice one.by Razorsedge - F1
I guess it's one of those optional rules, like not overtaking outside the track? Just saying... I expect his pole to stand, but would prefer to see him penalised due to the regulations it makes good sense that if you can't get back to the pits you probably wouldn't be able to start the race...unless the only reason is you were underfueled, and then....by Razorsedge - F1
I agree, I think (probably wrongly!) that Nico made 1 defensive move. He was very clear about it. It still didn't work against Lulu, but meh. As others have said, this season is all about different surfaces and temps and how the relative designs of the cars meet those circumstances. It's so weird.....yet strangely I can't look away.by Razorsedge - F1
Congratulations to Rosberg on completing the double! Hope he's not too hung over from partying still at Bahrain! If the Mercedes tire management has been sorted, as seems to be the case (although the cool weather was a factor here?), could we see a Championship challenge from Nico? I say Nico, because although Schumacher obviously still has it as a driver, his good luck is just all usedby Razorsedge - F1
Yes, congrats to Rosberg, he really strung together a perfect lap there. Hopefully the other Merc driver will get the upper hand in the race though! I thought Schumacher's deadpan Radio comment to the engineer having been told Rosbergs time after the first run was hilarious 'Oh...not bad.' Vettel has a long afternoon ahead tomorrow. Kimi may be good for the Podium once theby Razorsedge - F1
I think it's obvious Merc put their development work into qualifying at the front. Probably influenced by the Red Bull strategy from last year, of stick in front and make an early gap to run away from DRS trouble. However, I think the game may have changed a little this year to reflect a more 'traditional' be fast consistantly and take advantages when they arise. So i think despiteby Razorsedge - F1
Great stuff Perez. I also couldn't beleive that Radio call...it had to be a Ferrari order. The Merc is just a joke car designed to mix up qualy sessions. Very dissapointing. Button...w.t.h.?? Vettal....ugh. (objects in mirror are closer than they appear sticker for his car in China?).by Razorsedge - F1
Good stuff by Schumacher, hopefully 4th or 5th is possible in the race. Nico's starting to show a dissapointing pattern, I thought Australian Qualy was just a blip, but to repeat a lock up here when it counted is revealing. Tomorrow I hope Button gets a good start and gets past Schumie and Lulu. (My hope is that Lewis has about 2 more seasons of pain before he gets back a Championship..by Razorsedge - F1
I tuned in for the delayed telecast of Fuji TV. The Brundle and Croft team are brilliant in terms of excitement and insight. The Fuji guys were just...asleep! Literally. They usually provide commentary in a delayed show after midnight, so in one sense I can understand the 3 of them whispering to each other as you would when you werre a teen, sitting on a sofa passing the bong around durinby Razorsedge - F1
Hi guys, i've been lurking around for years, enjoy the forum you all have here. Rosberg was looking good, I don't think it was pressure from Schumie that caused his mistake, I just think it was a mistake; Great to see Schumacher seems to a have a real car again though. Hamilton really nailed it. As did Grosgean....does Kimi have the toughnes to get through? I don't know...theby Razorsedge - F1
Yes, I must withdraw my earlier complaint about ads; they did a great job with Qualy.by Razorsedge - F1
I just had to chime in to add my voice here, the coverage so far is just the same as last year, but there are far too many adds, I'm spending most of my time just looking around at the walls and talking to my wife. It's not quite the spectacle they hyped it up to be is it? *Edit: O.K. they were getting the adds out of the way, the last half of the session was much better. Well plaby Razorsedge - F1
'1997 Formula1 1997 Championship Edition PSX or f1 World Grand Prix N64' '1998 F1 World Grand Prix Sega DreamCast' For my money the F1 World Grand Prix games were the best things ever produced on consoles. I think you would be crazy not to go with them if you have the option.by Razorsedge - Other Games
Hi folks, It's a bit of an annual tradition for me to jump out of 'Lukerville' and post an impression at the end of a title fight. Vettel has been great this year.....there's still so much to come from him it's scary; do you think he has 8 titles in him!? 2 down..... Alonso is just the class of the field. He's been doing some fantastic work this year, and keby Razorsedge - F1
LOL. This thread really took off! I bought mine on pre-order from the U.S., express DHL delivery included it was still 10 bucks cheaper than the domestic version, and it arrived the day of the Japanese release! So very pleased about that. Very good old school fun (but I would have to say it looks old school as well)! and crucially everything works, and once driver aids are turned off thby Razorsedge - Other Games
Very good by Vettel at the last. Who was dropping all the Trips in the Ferrari garage???? Montezemelo forgot about his curse of attending the finale! Why on earth did they bring Alonso in? Was it his call or the team? Very silly.by Razorsedge - F1
LOL. Program removed. Good luck in 2011 folks!by Razorsedge - Other Games
You know, i could be wrong, but the Webber cut out might have been a Japanese joke. There are a few day-time TV shows here where if a regular member is unavailable you stick in a cardboard cut out of them. It's kind of a joke way of saying 'you can't be here, but we still think about you.' Just a guess.by Razorsedge - F1
did anyone else think Michael > had pushed him off at first?? > > God I love Suzuka. LOL...Given Michael's craptacular season so far I was fully expecting to see that was what happened! Thank god not. Kobayashi is excellent value. The Japanese commentary team is excellent, great atmosphere at every event, and with Koby going off they were totally on the case! LOL. Yes Dave , it's absolute rubbish on so many levels. Our only hope of finding some value is the modding community, and that's a really disappointing fact to face up to when you consider there are enough lemmings out there to have already justified F1 2011 (which I'm betting will be a texture update). The problem seems to be the game can work in multi-player on line. So the loby Razorsedge - Other Games
Wow, a lot of very interesting points, positive and negative coming out here. The thing that makes/made GP4 such a milestone for me was the A.I....you could have a race, and feel it. So much so that when I progressed from GP4 to racing on-line with r-factor I was pretty well prepared. I.M.O. If Code masters have good A.I. they will have won. This is the make or break point for them with thiby Razorsedge - Other Games

Well the Japanese coverage started the Replay 30 minutes early. They would usually only do this for Monaco. My fault for not checking the T.V. listings. Doh! So when I tuned in the race was already over. That was a guess, I immediately turned off the T.V. because modern F1 is all about the first 10 laps and went to the net for results. The results were completely in line line with what I saw hby Razorsedge - F1
I think Luca is the BEST guy to send asking for more money...he already got 80 million more for Ferrari...for no good reason. That wins in my book. Now, there is good reason for a redistribution of the revenue to all teams. Who better to send than Luca? Because if the teams do get re-distribution, it shouldn't affect Ferrari's 'historical Significance Bonus' which is obby Razorsedge - F1
Yes, it's all very responsible. It's also very 1970's, which is about the era of Prime Time for the blokes who are calling the shots. I don't consider regression a positive. I might be wrong. It's just my gut reaction.by Razorsedge - F1
