Very helpful post! Sorry mate, this has been discussed many times before. The shape for the car lies in the .exe file but that's as far as it goes. To implement this would require recoding of the game and AI. Many people asked Rene Smit to implement it into GPxPatch and even the God of the GPx series can't manage it(no disrespect Vader!).To read previous posts on this subjects it may be

Grand Prix 3 That's 2 of us looking for help on this then! I know Peran from SkunkWorks made a tutorial when his site was up, but I've never found this since. Come on guys, someone must have this on their HD somewhere. Would love to have a crack at this for some of the older menu arts!

Off-Topic I've seen a nude one, very good quality too. Unfortunately I don't have it any more but I do know it was made by Bojan Tarticchio and it was on his website. Sorry I can't help you further.

Grand Prix 4 Loren Thomas' work is very nice. Shame we've lost so many painters, but this opens opportunities for others who may think their work is not up to scratch but actually is! Not me unfortunately!

Grand Prix 3 You've hit the nail on the head Jackie! Like having a mobile chicane that you can't see-waste of time really. If Rene Smit can't do it then....

Grand Prix 3 Paint Shop Pro 7 is my favourite. Use the colour picker tool to sample the colour value of a GP3-2000 bitmap background then use this with you v1.13 bitmap. Also, ensure the enable transparency checkbox in Jamtool is selected as required.

Grand Prix 3 Unfortunately it can not be done, the same as adding teams.Which means we are stuck with 11 for all seasons. There is a sort of solution(for less not more) over on SDI forum which is down at the mo, but it's a bit involved and not a 100% satisfactory solution.Sorry mate!

Grand Prix 3 Dave, I appreciate this working full time myself. However, I feel that doing as instructed and receiving no response is a little bit poor considering the earlier response to someone elses "whinges"which as I recall were genuine requests). Do not think I am ungrateful, as this site has enhanced my GPx games immensely and the work of Bruno and Steffan is greatly appreciated. And I certainl

Grand Prix 3 Everything is done! Will break files down and post at the weekend, I take no credit for the cars and cockpits, just for correcting number positions and some cut/paste/recolouring for the cockpits.Team art is mine though! I'm using FIA spinning logos a'la The Smoking Pen, but if anyone has any pointers to GOOD logos for this period I would be happy. I wanted to make new ones and asked for

Grand Prix 3 Really need some help to finish a project I've been working on and come to a grinding halt. I've been tidying the fantastic 1993 carset by Perran Truran by putting the numbers of the cars in the correct positions, updating cockpits(from Bojan's work) and making teamarts. I'm looking for driver portraits of the following in 1993 attire:
1. Andrea de Cesaris-Tyrrell
2. Ukyo Kat

Grand Prix 4 Not a criticism Dave but maybe something helpful for you.If you go here, there's a vast collection of logos in .eps format which are great for shaping and resizing in PSP7.I've redone all my GP3 tracks with logo's from here and they are superb. Little tip. When you open them in PSP7, open at a resolution of 400dpi and allow antialiasing bgefore resizing. The site is and all the log

Grand Prix 3 If you're prepared to do a bit of work with GP3edit, there's some cracking single cars around and a partial carset - released by Bojan Tarticchio-made by the now defunct Skunkworks team. The cars are of a much higher quality than the set above, but need numbers positioning etc-I'm actually in the process of doing this myself, but probably won't post it as it's based on too

Grand Prix 4 Paul, there is a 95 carset albeit not to the high standard of the others and there's no menuarts yet - something I can live without(or pitcrews).I've updated my version with a couple of single cars(Hugo Lacharite's I think??) and made a couple of cosmetic changes - will mail it to you if you want. Decent 83 and 84 sets are missing from my collection but would love to see a 92 set fi
