If you're using Gp3v1.13 you can do it with GP3Edit by Steve Young-GPxSAT actually uses the numbers saved in GP3 and not vice-versa

Grand Prix 3 Jacki-it's in the downloads section of pk's site. I'm using it with v1.13 for quickraces/practice and it's a superb piece of work. The only prob I do have is quite a PO hit at the beginnining of race, but that's my system and not this pack.

Grand Prix 3 FFS can't you have some patience!Have you ever tried track editing? It's a pig!I can understand your impatience to want the latest, it's just that putting pressure on people often yields bad results or worse-nothing at all.If you want to try something good,d/l Belini's Interlagos package-it's awesome!!

Grand Prix 3 Can you mail me the jam file for car 8b and will look for you! Bug is certainly with the track. Send it to k.r.bell@lineone.net
by
Dinga
-
Grand Prix 3 Yes,but each jam file is made up of various numbered textures-so the jam has the correct name but it may be the texture number conflicting.EG in GP3v1.13, You have one jam file for two cars. But each jam is made up of 3 textures eg Ferrari98.jam has texture numbers 292,293 and 294 assigned to it.Open car 8b in jamtool and you'll see what I mean.

Grand Prix 3 Sounds like a .jam id conflict I use v1.13 so can't be 100% sure. But if you open car 8b in jamtool and look at the texture number, then browse through the Silverstone jam folder, you may find a texture with the same number. If this is the case you'll need to assign a different number to the texture in the Silverstone folder(Not the car!). Somewhere on this site is a list of free jam text

Grand Prix 3 They're uploaded mate; in GP3 section but should work in GP4.I use Tigersharks pitboards in GP3 with no problems.Just remember to turn them on in GPxCinfo and turn off in GP4.I have a few other things up my sleeve using this brilliant patch by Rene!To simulate visor opening(in pits), just hit ctrl+*(* being the number from 1-6 you've assigned the visorupper.ini to)

Grand Prix 4 Thank you very much-will prepare the zip and readme later and give you full credit for the graphic work.Cheers mate!

Grand Prix 4@Viper - 20 years ago
Viper, I've been playing around with GPxCinfo quite a bit just recently and have managed to resize and utilise your 2002 GP4 visors in GP3(Just resized .tga to 1024x256).By using 2 separate .ini files it's possible to simulate opening and closing the visor using a keystroke and is quite useful for seeing GP3's pit monitor.Do you have any objection to me posting these files as a pac

Grand Prix 4 No-but there are two versions of the shortened circuit from previous years available. One is on this site and the other is part of Matti's 2002 TrackPack over at Alpha. At a guess i would think Marcos Togni wil be the man making this circuit based on one of the two mentioned.Be patient, it wil come I'm sure.

Grand Prix 3 Newbie too!Download the Sachsenring track. It's just under 10Mb but graphically it's perfect and a pretty good drive too!Same as Glynn, I updated everything using the site he suggests and it's like a whole makeover.Basically, GPL Rocks!

Off-Topic I have this board too(c/w 32Mb Ge-Force2 GTS)-it took me ages to get the drivers I wanted that were compatible with all my software.Unfortunately, a lot of other outside influences can interfere.eg software conflicts, motherboard drivers, background programs etc. I'm currently using NVidia's own 28-32 drivers and everything is great and has been for over six months. The drivers that came

Grand Prix 3 Just a thank you to Loren for the 2003 carset. With a lot of good painters going on to GP4 it's nice to see a good quality carset for this season.Looking forward to your 1993 set too, feel free to use my team arts for this season>I've updated all the spinning logos on my set using the ones from Paul R's 94 set.If he agrees I'll send them to you.Just let me know.

Grand Prix 4 Okay, was hoping to keep this under my hat a little longer, while Rene works more with GPxcinfo. I actually need photos of the actual trackmap overlay from the start of each race. Now I have the basic format(font size, kerning etc)correct, doing each track is relatively easy. I've made them for Barcelona and Austria and intend to do each one after each race. With cinfo able to display track spe

Grand Prix 4 I'm currently working on a new project-don't want to say too much about it as it's very WIP.What I'm looking for is someone who has recorded this years GPs who owns a digital camera to send me some images from the first 4 races(one shot from each). In return,I'll send a copy of part of my project for you to test/criticise/give advice..

Grand Prix 4 1. Yes,you'd need to edit the shapes
2. If you extract the .tga from the .tex and resize in PSP7(or other) from 1024 to 512, the alpha channel also reduces in size accordingly. Another way to do this is with GP4 Master. In tex workshop, open the file you wish to resize and downsample.Extract the 512x512 .tga and replace the 1024x1024 image with it.Downsample then save

Grand Prix 4 Big job ahead mate-you need to go into each .wad for each track and find the .tex files for the arrows pit and replace each one with your own design.Good luck!

Grand Prix 4 Me too(3.37a) - the show in cockpit checkbox is the one; there are three settings
1. Empty
2. Ticked
3. Ticked with grey background(this is the show in cockpit only setting)
by
Dinga
-
Grand Prix 4 On the cinfo panel, select edit-you will see there is a checkbox for "show in cockpit".If you click here there is now a third "greyed out" selection which shows in cockpit only and not in external view.

Grand Prix 3 Yes it works-with only the drawbacks I mentioned. Will e-mail mine for you to try if you want.Won't post on the site as they are based on other people's work.

Grand Prix 3 Sorry, you're wrong!Glowing brakes can be made to work, the only slight drawback is that they glow whenever(on the grid, pits etc..)the car is at a standstill. But as soon as wheels are moving-glow effect disappears! All that needs painting is the glow into the static tyre bitmap.

Grand Prix 3 In the folder 'snd' you should have a folder with all the sounds in, ie murrayset. The murrayset.ini sits outside this folder and links to all the files inside..
Paths D:\**\Grand Prix 3\Gpxpdata\snd\murrayset.ini
D:\**\Grand Prix 3\Gpxpdata\snd\Murrayset
Hope this helps!

Grand Prix 3 Me too!I don't even use the track pack, but "cut" them from it,reallocated all the JAMs in TE and no problems at all.And no, I won't post them as Matti does not like people tinkering with his work, then releasing it.

Grand Prix 3 Madman, I think you misunderstand me a little. What you say is true, but what I am getting at is that when you are actually in the pitlane serving your penalty, the GPxSAT (Not GPxCinfo) overlay still says DriverName...Pitstop. Will maybe put a message on SDI forum tonight to see if he can trigger something. And people not using GPxPatch?!?
