Grand Prix 4 Grandprixgames.org has been contacted by Infogrames's Q&A to get more info about how the game works on your system. We have already checked that firm and it does seem real.
"My name is (name deleted) and I'm working with Electric Artists on the release of Grand Prix 4. We're going to be doing a Q&A with Geoff Crammond, for starters, and we thought you might like t

Grand Prix 4 Hello Neil, why so complicated?
Simply rename the cars. wad file to "my_best_cars.wad" or something. Then copy the new downloaded cars.wad file into your GP4 folder. If you want to change back, remame the new downloaded file to "download_Viper20001.wad´" (or whatever) and rename your old file to cars.wad again.

Grand Prix 4 I just can't believe that some of you people have missused a topic - especially the "moderation's topic" - for personal offence and insults on nationalities.
Everyone calm down now - We are all F1 and/ or PC racing fans and there should be no room for offence here, regardless from which countries we come from.
After all, grandprixgames.org and grandprix3.com have visitors fro

Grand Prix 4 Funny GP4 pictures are ON TOPIC, of course. But I do not see the connection between turtles or toys and GP4.

Grand Prix 4 Please remember that this is STILL a GP4 forum. You should have better place to post your funny pictures. If not, send them via e-mail.

Grand Prix 3 I have now included helmet visors in my Interlagos, Monaco and A1Ring tacks. Some of them may be "not that nice", but still I suffer from big problems when converting the picture into GP4's tex format. GP4 adds some strange colours every here and there. Also updated some of the garages.
I 'll do the same with my other already published tracks soon and all will include them if

Grand Prix 4 Each track can have different visors, but no different helmets at outside view - at least not as far as the trackfile is concerned. Let's hope that GPxPatch will enable helmet selection soon.

Grand Prix 4 The visors are stored in the trackfiles. My next versions of tracks will include them.

Grand Prix 4 You may have found that this forum always used to be fairly unmoderated, because most of you visitors used to be friendly and tolanrant.
But now - for the first time - I had to delete a whole thread (as our site is not ready yet to edit single posings). That topic was missused for personal offence and insults on nationalities. I am sorry for the interesting answers that were also deleted with th

F1 The Ge-force 2 MX offers good results for money, but is a bit slow if you want to buy a new system. It's not really faster than a G-Force 1, though.
If you can afford, buy a Ge-Force 4 Ti 4200, which should be around $200.

Grand Prix 4 You may know my works for GP3 and I have already done 5 sets of trackgraphics for GP4.
As long as there is no track editor around, advert placement and scenery textures can not be 100 % accurate.
I suspect that the GP4 team did want to hinder gfx editing by purpose. Just remember the troubles Car designers have.
And when it comes to tracks, there are quite a few examples of texture mapping that

Grand Prix 4 You may know that I have done some menus and tracks for GP3 myself. So I can fully recognize how lame leechers are. Moreover, I am in pretty close email contact with Ralph now.

Grand Prix 4 In fact, I found Mr. Evil's set on the net and uploaded it to grandprixgames.org.
I have already contacted R. Hummerich for his statement if it is a copy and paste job or not. I do not know any of the F1 2001/2 modifications. I have never downloaded anything for these games.
If that carset really is stolen, it wil of course be deleted from grandprixgames.org.

Grand Prix 3 As reported in another thread:
If you do not see Claudia Schiffer an Naomi Campell in the pitlane and some other girls at the track, look if you have copied all the jams to their destination. You also should have a crowd of finnish fans at one place.

Grand Prix 3 No, I do not work for grandprix3.com, if you mean as an employee. We are all doing this for fun, we are racing fans just like you are. Of course, a own server is not cheap, but we will try hard not to invent pop-ups. You can - of course - hammer the commercial links we have to support us.

Grand Prix 3 We have managed now to restore an estimated 75% of our filebase. We keep on working, but the "trackgraphics" and "other graphics" sections can not be fully restored until we have more server space.
The good news is: grandprix3.com will have it's completly OWN webserver by the end of the week, so there will be no future problems with webspace providers anymore. A quite ex
