The monkey came from vectorlounge.com, the amsterdam section. Most of its dodgy stuff, but the monkey smack makes it all worthwhile. Another great site is orisinal The daring dozen is fun, and so is the santa one.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
OK, just go to grandprix3.com, then downloads/other graphics. On the second page.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 3
Boomy, you confuse me. Here's what? and in the other thread. Probably I'm just being stupid, but I don't understand.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
That's good to see.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Well, this thread's buggered.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Forget this, it looks boring and 2D (just read some reviews and saw screenshots).by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 3
I'm with you here, I want online racing! (got to use ADSL for something!)by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
But surely this is a logical development, an attempt to push the genre forward? It isnt vital by any means, but it is important to most people, because a game can be improved through AI and physics, but if it isnt visually better too, what warrants the two year wait?by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
I heard about this game a while ago, but I can't find a demo for it anywhere....it's a great idea, and sounds fun. Does anyone know where to find a demo? Cheers Chris Jby -qwerty- - Grand Prix 3
I think the pitcrews were a vital addition. That was the weakpoint of gp3, and they addressed it well. Multiplayer won't happen, as the fia licence doesnt cover it.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
I think its used in gp3 and 4 just as a level of crashing. eg when it splits in half its infinately more gratifying than a normal crash, even if its not realisticby -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Wow....I missed the best bit! Ah well. Having reread the thread this morning, I agree with Sage, it was blown out of proportion, helped by me. Sorry John.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Tony Tiffosi [193.111.112.56] With ferrari flag [193.111.112.56] New crowd [193.111.112.56] That's all there is. I recommend the third one Good luck Chris Jby -qwerty- - Grand Prix 3
John, sadly even gp3 was'nt a solid product on release. You really should try gp3 2000, it's much better, and so on. I'd just like to clear up that when I said 'yawn' it was because on gp4's release there were a lot of similar threads, where people said they were unhappy with the product and I (perhaps stupidly) replied to many of them.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
look at that. I've posted the same comment in two threadsby -qwerty- - Grand Prix 3
Indianapolis, US gp. Neil, that's very quick. I really hate that track, and avoid it at all costs. That and Sepang. And Hokenheim and Monza.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
David, XP takes 64meg ram just for itself, so installing 98SE will help hugely (or Me)by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 3
OK Eugene....at no point did I get personal. Why you feel the need to do that is beyond me, and I did not call ANYBODY stupid, by the way. As for the reviews, I did not intend for them to back up my arguement; he wanted links to reviews, he got them from two sites picked randomly from my favourites list. I'm a dedicated gp3 2000 player, always have been, and I returned gp4 after 1 week bby -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
yawn. Yes, it could have been John, but it wasnt just "gp4 has missing features" it was that and "what most of you want is unimportant to me, its all fluff eg safety car" so you expect us to let you say you're right, were wrong, especially when you havent played it, and we wont respond? Come on. Here are some links for you; not many because I'm bored Readby -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Yeah, there isnt the huge numbers of moving digits to draw....that's why I used to play in tcam.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
John, that makes zero difference. Whether you were physically able to buy it or not, you still made these anti gp4 comments, which since you have never played the game, seems more than a little unfair to me. When you have played the game, and have explored it all fully, then maybe he'll ask for a continuence, but not before.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Give him time, and he will. By the way Bazza, cool picture. (ha ha ha - I'll get my coat)by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
David, Windows XP on that system is a disaster. Firstly, xp takes 64mb of RAM just for itself, as well as a lot of processing power. If you chasnge to maybe 98SE then they might work.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 3
Fraps doesnt help graphics. But gpxpatch doesnt let you take CONTINUOUS screenshots...this does, and therefore good for making little gp3 mpegs.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
This card can have UP TO 128mb SDRAM, but only comes with 32mb. That's why its cheaper.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
"While the 315 can hang with ATI's low-end Radeon VE, there's simply no catching the MX in this benchmark. " BAD NEWS! Game 3's Max Payne shootout scene is next. In summary, its worse than the GF2 MX. Avoid like the plague.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Neil, I would think its an attempt by GC to increase realism. As said in another thread, real F1 cars don't 'screech' as much as we heard in gp3.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
You can use fraps (framerate program) to take continuous screenshots, by setting the key on your keyboard. I use NUM5.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
