Spikeman, it'll run fine. You'll get a 90-110% PO.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Reny, if you want to play games like RCW and GP4 (and Doom III) then you'll need a good GAMING card. Whilst ATI have a plethora (is that the word?) of features, GF are better for games. GF cards still look good in windows and internet, just not as good. Also, you should really aim for 25fps, as this is tv's fps, any more looks a little slow.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
There is no other solution. Your pc can't load the textures fast enough. Pitcrew is quick movement, so there is a lot to load....probably why only pitcrew is afected. Seriously, you should consider getting a gfx card. Some great deals can be seen in the thread "ATI or Nvidia?" and many recent ones.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
LOL John! Nick Court uses the keyboard, so :p I think the keyboard works amazingly well with gpxby -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
ATI 8500 is worth considering too.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Hi Dan GP4 feels very different to gp3. Its often harder to 'feel' where the grip limit is, and so its easy to spin. OK, go into sound options, and tyre noise (screeching) up to 100%. This allows you to hear when the car is at the limit. I suggest just taking your time to learn the circuits, as GPS data used shows camber (slight banking) of corners, which we didnt get in gp3, so eaby -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
But why would you want v1.0 if 1.1 is available?by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Sounds like a graphics card issue. What card do you have?by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
I think the image quality war is won by Matrox. I know they're old, but the G400, G550 and G200 all have a superb 2D engine, better than any other I've sen, so good for work, BAD for gaming!by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
I know what Willow means. The keyboard is so great as a control method in gpx games that it often seems rather pointless to shell out for a wheel.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
To avoid aquaplaning, you have to raise the ride height. Then, because its slippery, I'd say soften your suspension. The main thing is driving style; just ease off a little, if you avoid kerbs etc and basically drive more carefully you can EASILY outpace the computer cars, even on ace.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 3
For a moment I thought it was a Cai re-run there!by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Well it is...the adress is gp3.com, this is the gp3.com forum...by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 3
Yeah, we've found that too. Its a great little trick.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Its a real piece of history, my card.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
actually, I'm a proud owner of the Matrox G200 Marvel 8mb gfx card, but its quite clear from the graph that both 8500s outperform the gf4 mx's by some way.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
I think it has basically become the OT board...but since I don't play gp4, this board (vested interest, I know) is important. Also, this is gp3.com, after allby -qwerty- - Grand Prix 3
Its is one of the best, and packed with features far beyond the GF cards. They are the ultimate all round package, but sadly not all that close to GF4 Ti for gaming:by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
No way is that working. If it does, then buy it off him, and tell him he's a fool for selling it so cheap.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Some virus protection software run checks regularly, and automatically, at set times. This could be the problem, as it would hog your systemby -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
Martin Heidegger is indeed the man for 'they' as well as the question he continually returned to "what is the meaning of being?". He dealt with the issue of dehumanisation chiefly in his 1977 work "The Question Concerning Technology". His work affected the cultural and philosophical "landscape" of continental europe for decades. However, this is all I knowby -qwerty- - F1
I always liked the blue. It was individual, unlike this green/grey colour which most forums (ezboard-*shudder*) seem to have. I've noticed that AlphaF1 have copied the blue design gp3.com has!by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
F1 cars certainly do have power steering. Can you imagine having to turn the wheel upside down in order to get full lock? There just isnt time, so power steering is needed. Also most races are around 65 laps. Without it, many drivers would be too tired to keep up the pace.by -qwerty- - Grand Prix 4
