Nice work aussie, good to see it's still active.
I have learned some of what is possible from your work. Thank you for your comment and your efforts also.

While some of the bumps are included others are inclusions. The circuit will be sorted out in time.
Your text is looking a little fat.

Grand Prix 4 The simple answer is yes I will do my best to make it work at 50 laps
To me it is pleasure enough to see GP4 physics at work around the Mount Panorama circuit. I am seriously considering making the circuit available to all before it is actually complete. Having said that I intend to build everything to the point where it looks and works well before

Grand Prix 4 It occurred to me that I should probably share at least something of an update, if not the perfect render.
This screen shot represents last weekend's work on the walkway overpass. Everything including the stairs was built in 3d and then an image was captured within the GP4 Builder. The textures for the stairs and framing were created from those shots reducing the faces by 600. At this st

Grand Prix 4 Try moving some or all parts of objects or objects with transparent textures to a new Scene. I can't really see from your shots what the problem might be exactly. I wouldn't bother adjusting the CC line to fix the clipping problems.
This should probably be in the track editing thread.

Grand Prix 4 Nice race track salvasirignano. Uique and fun to drive. Good job I especially like the landscape creation. I’ve been working on L3DT all day

Grand Prix 4 I'm not sure but in the upper left corner of your screenshot it looks like the sign should be two sided so give this a try:

Grand Prix 4 Even though we Aussies have great passion for the Bathurst 1000, The Great Race. I’m no longer working on the idea of 161 laps of Bathurst.
We will however see GP4 formula 1 cars doing laps of Mount Panorama, based on the exhibition laps in 2009.
Keep the topic “Bathurst 2009 work in progress” and start your own thread if you wish to talk about the possibilities of Winton Motor raceway in

Grand Prix 4 Thanks guys
@Mullet345
50 laps works just fine. Thanks SchueyFan. The idea of 1000km race length is being worked on. SDI has enabled us once again. Realise that the screenshot is just so we can continue hoping we can make it work.
@ Atticus
Thank you for your comments. I do understand clearly what you're saying. I do have firsthand knowledge of the circuit and I am doing my best

Grand Prix 4 Yes!!! I must say simply brilliant, SDI. I appreciate your efforts. Thank you also to addie for building the tests .dat. Much appreciated
I'm just going to put out there: 5.8km X 2.5km for the world/box would be quite something.

Grand Prix 4 QuoteSDI
I could give this a try, but I'd need an actual .dat file with like 2000 segments to test it.
Is somebody building this for SDI ?
We need some guidelines before we start SDI. For example, do we need to keep the circuit close to the same perimeter that is outlined for us by the box in the GP4Builder or can we try an out and back time trial road course that I have been thinking

Grand Prix 4 I'm getting very excited about this one. It is a very interesting circuit to build. I have not been able to work on it for a few weeks and had fun getting back into it this weekend. Thank you again, gareth, for the onboard video.

Grand Prix 4 Quoteramf1v
Close enough and high enough resolution to see the smallest detail that needs modeling, also far enough to see proportion...good lighting, good focus, all angles covered, etc ....at least 12 megapixels (4000x3000) if possible.
Photo's taken from a practical perspective , not an aesthetic one, no grinning marshals stood right in front of a detail...and as clear a background as po

Grand Prix 4 There are a few places at Bathurst circuit where they have used a very similar fence style. Looks to me like the same manufacturer which wouldn't surprise me. In my travels I will try and find the photos you need. (Is that fly dirt or an ant's footprint?)

Grand Prix 4 Okay then, I will build and map the fences When I built my chain link fence for Oran Park, the texture that is, it took me about 3 days so it's not a bad deal for me. Your fence textures look perfect. I will be able to use them at Bathurst and Eastern Creek so thank you for creating the textures Just send me what you have and I will PM you on the weekend.

Grand Prix 4 Eastern creek is back in-game with an entirely new background photo and easterncreek.data.
It's very interesting to watch this time, the computer cars dicing for position. Obviously it is everything to do with the track layout and the cc-line. The inspiration has come from 2012 round 19-20 V8 Supercars. In a few weeks I'll have something ready to test. The in-game shot is after turn

Grand Prix 4 Try this
This is probably not the correct thread; however, I will attempt to answer your question as asked.
Eastern Creek actual image size 8116 X 4623 pixels with a line drawn on the image from the start finish line that measures 200m. In Google Earth, go to Tools/Line/Meters. In the Eastern Creek image, the 200m line drawn equals 1350 pixels.
In this case 8116/1350*200=1202.370 so th

Grand Prix 4 They tightened up turn 5 and 6 when removing that dangerous kink. That's why the wall is so close to the left. I will have to rebuild it but no-worries. Better to find out now. See you in a couple of weeks.

Grand Prix 4 SchueyFan- that is perfect. I could watch that race all day fabulous video! I'll do my best to reproduce the camber, change in track heights and run-off. I will definitely change the cc-line

Grand Prix 4 Thank you all for your responses I would love to be able to walk around it. So this track layout is what you want? I have only guessed from some comments, please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm not in love with the cc-line. I cranked it out based on the idea that there may be initial understeer on the corner entry just by the way the track layout is designed with a tight radius at the
