Haven't looked at it yet. It's .dat related? Or .wad?

I would belive it's .exe related...

Yes, but is it 3D related or 'physics' (car, segments) related?

In that sense, it's .dat related. I believe it's the numbers that go in the Sector Position command.

Edit: I'm not quite sure if it's the .dat sectors that must fit in the square, the cc-line, or both.

I would say physics as cars are somewhat hitting an invisible wall close to the bound.

Not the cc-line I think. When I first try to make Le Mans for GP3 Tertre Rouge was "out of the world" and really weird things happened in that sector. That was without cc-line. I guess GP4world is working the same way than GP3world.

Yes!!! I must say simply brilliant, SDI. I appreciate your efforts. Thank you also to addie for building the tests .dat. Much appreciated:-)

I'm just going to put out there: 5.8km X 2.5km for the world/box would be quite something.

Sorry to bring this topic back up, but if breaking the previous sector limit was done would going above 128 laps also be possible?

I can try to make it go till 254.

And a note about the 2.5 km limit: this is a 16-bit number limit in the track segment. Very hard to extend.

Nice, 200 laps for e.g. Indy 500 might be enough. I really cannot imagine, that someone is going to drive a 24-hour-race ;-).

Nevertheless, it would be very nice to have enough room for e.g. Le Mans, Nordschleife and so on ;-). But if other innovations need less time to make them, it's okay as well ;-).

254 would be very suitable as a new lap limit, then 6 hour races on tracks like Silverstone and Suzuka would be possible (as well as any longer tracks like Spa/Nordschliefe!). In fact with the new sector limit and possible area increase, 12 hour races could well happen!

In an other game that I can't name here, there are leagues running races of 24 hours with multi-drivers teams. Everything is possible.
