My pedals are inverted for some reason, but for rFactor/SCE/Assetto Corsa it mostly solves itself(in AC I do need to tick the 'Invert' boxes, but that's it), but in GP4, the pedals are un-usable because of this inversion.
Has anyone else managed to get these pedals working in the game? They worked fine before combined with a Fanatec Forza wheel, but I am guessing it was as a res

Grand Prix 4 I recently upgraded to an Nvidia GTX 970. Before that, I had a 670, as well as an AMD R9 280X, and everything ran fine.
With the 970, my CPU occupancy is above 100% all the time, and at or near 150% most of the time, even if I turn down graphical settings.
Why would this be so bad just due to a new GPU, which works fine and as expected in other games? I've already tried using ALL CPU

That's sad to hear. Best game ever, and it doesn't have Multiplayer. Would have been awesome.
Makes me long for the never-created Grand Prix 5 even more.

Grand Prix 4 I've never used it in any way, shape or form. So pardon the stupid questions:
- Does it actually work? I.e. you and someone else can race together on the same track?
- If the above is yes, can more than 2 people race it together?
Thanks.

I am gonna give all the levels the same power factor(equal to whatever ACE is set at), and then just decrease ACE grip factor by 1 point, then the game will be perfect.

Grand Prix 4 My specs, runs under 100% Processor Occupancy basically all the time:
- CPU: Intel 2500k(perhaps look for something newer, although it's not nearly showing its age yet.)
- GPU: AMD Radeon R9 280x 3GB
- RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz - although even 4GB should be enough.
Anything equal to, or better than, that, should be sufficient.

Grand Prix 4 Hoping someone could advise.
Started using a custom performance file recently, but not sure if it's related. Also tobacco liveries have been added to the cars.wad, but this hasn't given a problem in the past year. In fact, I don't think the performance file even has anything to do with it, but you never know. This was the second time it's crashed on me after completing a st

Grand Prix 4 On a similar note, is there a simple way to edit each difficulty on its own? Because I lap everyone on Pro, but always finish last on Ace. So I think just a 0.5% lowering of ACE would be perfect.

Grand Prix 4 Hi
I am trying to set up buttons for looking left and right on my G27. However, I have not managed a way to do this yet. I wanted to use the Edit Bindings in GPXPatch, but ShowVKey does not pick up any G27 inputs.
Also, if there is a way to set my HAT buttons on my standard G27 button box to change pitstop settings, instead of using throttle and steer left/right to set them, that'd be

Other Motorsports Have you tried Accelerated time on a nonchampionship race for the track in question, but two races in a row? That is the way I do it, and it works every time as a test, it usually crashes on the 2nd race.

Grand Prix 4 Darnit! So Slot 10 works fine with the same track and perf file that crashes on slot 7... So at least you helped me with what it was - thanks! But I still want the season to run in order. Does no-one know what causes this incompatibility?

Grand Prix 4 Hmmm. 5 100% races on slot 10, which all worked! Now I will use the Magny Cours perf file in slot 10 too, see if that works as well...

Grand Prix 4 It gets weirder! Tested with Jerez in slot 7, because it's clockwise and the pitlane is the same side as Magny Cours, and it works fine...
No, the Magny Cours I tested with was 1994 and 1995, so not original. Jerez was 1994. What do you mean 'incompatible' ones?

Grand Prix 4 So here's what I did tonight regarding this bug:
1. 1995 Mod with the 1994 Magny Cours, ALSO slot 7 as in the 1994 mod, no problemo whatsoever - so I guess mine rules out the slot issue on my side :/
2. 1994 Mod with 1995 Magny Cours - still crashing. I think this points to a bad perf file. Not sure yet.
3. Installed 285 Nvidia drivers - no differences.
Will investigate further.

Grand Prix 4 "About the controllers I use to play GP4:
Since my old Logitech Formula Force racing wheel doesn't run in Windows7-64bit anymore (no compatible driver available), I use my flightsim yoke for steering, and seperate rudder pedals controller (left toebrake = Brakes, right toebrake = Accellerator).
With some tweaking of the sensitivity settings in GP4, this gives quite a good "feel&q

Grand Prix 4 I also changed nothing manually - just normal mod install, and continuing a normal championship season. I even totally uninstalled Csm, Gpxpatch and the game itself, and a registry clean. Nothing works.
Re-downloaded 285 drivers, will try them tonight when I get home, then let you know how it goes! This is utterly frustrating.
