Unbelievable! Ok, granted the drivers left weren't quite earth shattering, but there was still good talent around, surely Sauber could have done better than this.

Yeah, those Marlboro stripes look like a printer alignment test.

F1 I'm happy they aren't all launching at once, otherwise we would have got a deluge of launches, then not a whole lot left to look forward to.

Something like that. Yeah, I've mentioned it once or twice around here in the past too.
But getting back to the WC, Ho3n3r, I'd have to agree with you, the hype and expectation being generated is highly likely to exceed what the tournament can a

In practice, I really can't see a race near the Vatican lasting too long, especially if there are support races before the GP itself, obviously due to the noise (this time it would be a legitimate complaint because the race wasn't there first).

F1 I was more or less expecting something similar to that, just the lid would be turquoise like the Petronas main colour.

F1 Here's the Formula1.com article on it.
Well, could be interesting for Symonds to see if he could get HIS ban overturned, even if no-one would really hire Briatore any time soon, Symonds, with all his expertise, would be snapped up in an instant.

I wouldn't call Kobayashi solid yet, he's got the pace, there's no doubt about that, but his consistency is still an unknown. If he can be that quick through

F1 I hope USF1 gets to the grid and does as well as their limited experience will allow, they've had a lot of detractors and people who don't seem to want them to make it, but they haven't made THAT much noise, and just got on with things.

F1 Well, I doubt he'd go #2 to someone who hasn't won a race yet, so it'll almost be MS in the 3 car.

F1 Schumacher sets very high standards, so I doubt he'd do this if he had any doubts about his fitness or ability, so obviously he reckons he still has it. Should be cool to see how F1's young guns stack up against him.

F1 As a big Sauber fan I'm pretty disappointed to see them lose a sponsor/major partner of 13 years, but yeah, that's how F1 goes sometimes.

F1 Mh, I was hoping for something a little more solid than Kobayashi, sure he might be fast, but when the pressure is on and he needs to turn out performances, he's an unknown quantity.

Not too bad there, it keeps some stability for the team, but what I like is that Renault are also still supplying another team with engines as well.

F1 We'll see if that's what they're saying a few races into the season. If anything we'll probably find that Trulli and Kovalinen wishing they ARE AT another team.

F1 Here's what I'd like to see in a couple of the teams..
Sauber#1 Raikonnen (Not likely, I know, but this is a list of IDEAL seat fills)
Sauber#2 Heidfeld
Renault#2 Kovalinen or Trulli
USF1#1 Klein
USF1#2 Hildebrand
