I'm a huge Schumacher fan but not even I can believe that, it looks like next year McLaren will have the strongest driver lineup they've had since since Prost and Senna, if Frank Williams makes the right decision regarding the teammate for Mark Webber, then two Williams cars will be right there, BAR is improving in leaps and bounds, plus Toyota could finally come to the party as well. F1 I'll take a shot in the dark and say that DC will drive for this Team Dubai if they enter next year (owing to McLaren and Mercedes connections) and might be partnered by Heidfeld. Lopper, Davidson is still on the market (to my knowledge anyway)

F1 <<watch them tippy toe around in the first race of the 2 race engine restriction rule. prob do half a dozen laps before the race.>>
And they think this is better racing? I always have thought that a better idea would be that if an engine blows, the team doesn't have to pay for it, sort of like a warranty/guarantee situation, telling the teams that they can only use one engine

F1 I agreen the rear wings not the best looking thing in the world, BUT EJ did say this year that Jordan had some really good aero components for next year, perhaps that rear wing design works, we'll have to wait till next year to find out.

F1 But if Bruni works on his mental approach, would that ensure him a future?
by
Team CLR

F1 Bruni's lucky though, he's only just started in F1, look at Trulli and Fissichella, they also started in Minardi and went on to better things, Bruni's well rated as a driver, and shrewd team bosses notice things like that, so maybe if not 2005, then 2006, perhaps this Team Dubai could make room for him?

F1 Getting back to Da Matta, you have to look back to before he drove his first race, when it started becoming obvious that Toyota wanted him in their plans, rumours were that it was only as a test driver, despite the fact that he just won the CART championship. These rumours weren't true of course bat they could well have done a lot to sour his view of F1.

I was always under the impression that it was 5, that teams were only allowed max.2 no. 1 drivers and 3 no. 2 drivers.

F1 Okay, I'm not the greatest fan of the British GP either, but facts are facts, it has produced good races in the past couple of years, and if you want outdated, try Monaco, it's one of the oldest tracks on the F1 calender to date, and were it not for pitstops or rain, it would be completely boring

F1 If FW doesn't fork out any compensation cash for BAR to get Button, Fissi could be the winner if he changes seats, because to be honest I have a few doubts about Renault, firstly because next years car will be the Bob Bell designed car, and I'm not sure how that will fare, and it's no secret that Flav will give first choice in everything to Alonso which means Fissi could well be sh

F1 well I saw the race on Supersport (the second F1 broadcaster is South Africa) and even though they didn't go to ad breaks during the race we kept losing sound
every time ITV went to an ad break (if my understanding is correct both SABC and Supersport recieve ITV's feed) so I can understand what you are talking about, that was pretty frequent, not to mention annoying. If anyone want

F1 Limiting the test time in days might not work because in theory the big teams could commit all four cars to testing duties, whilst the likes of Minardi and Jordan would struggle to field three cars (resources permitting) What might work is to limit overall testing mileage per season.
Also When you say allow testing at each race meeting, do you mean on Thursday (Wednesday in the case of Monaco)

F1 Interesting, I think the one factor that has contributed to the skyrocketing costs is not so much testing, it's personel, the size of the big teams has become literally big, and the smaller teams just can't compete with that. As for manufacturers "killing" the smaller teams, It's simply a natural progression of the sport (although to be honset I'd much prefer to see

F1 *reads between the lines* hmmm....... Kimi won this year, DC must be saying that he needs a better car than Kimi in order to win, which means he has accidently admitted that Kimi is a far better driver, BAR should do themselves a favour and just let Davidson take a seat, and even if he doesn't, then an offer should be extended to Heidfeld, or maybe even Pizzonia.

F1 I hope companies like GM carry through with their apparent interest to enter the sport, but it's good to see that Minardi will still go racing next year, now I hope Jordan are able to put a deal toghether, and we see a new team, or better yet, new teams, next year.

F1 This is why I say that the engine manufacturers should be encouraged to supply a second team, even though there have been a few manufacturers that have supplied smaller teams, Ford is the only company to have done so with any consistency, as a lot of people have spotted if Cosworth quits F1, who will fill the gap? As for Jaguar, if the top people at Ford had decided to make such a half-hearted at

F1 As a Sauber fan I think it sucks that they hired Villeneuve, sure, he was a former wrold champion, but that was almost 8 years ago, and looking at BAR, they have only really started to do well one JV has gone, so I find this piece of news disappointing.

F1 I see what you mean but personally I don't mind new countries building tracks, what I would mind however is if they host a GP and their track is proven to be shoddy at best, things like having a pedigree, to me anyway, don't really matter,
what I think matters is if they build a track, are the facilities up to spec? and will it produce good interesting races?
by

F1 You don't really need a "connection" these days to build a good track, all you need is money, lots of it, then you can hire the best designers, builders, and whatever else you need whilst still making sure that you have enough left over for the promotional fees, BTW I told my uncle who's Greek and he said that they have been talking about building a track in Greece since he wa
