"nVIDIA do make terrible budget cards (5200 and 5600), but they make good middle and top range cards." Ooh :S - I'm ready to order a GeForce FX5600 thinking it's a mid-range card... OK then, what do you recommend? lol - coz I haven't really looked extensively.by Locke Cole - Off-Topic
I've only recently discovered F1C and I'm at sea in the Downloads section, what would you recommend as the 'must-have' downloads? (I have RH2003 mod) Cheersby Locke Cole - Off-Topic
I take it back - my intelligent graphics card automatically updates itself d'oh! Anyway, the original ones are back on now and I've turned the auto-check off... I'm getting a new card in a few weeks anyhow so fingers crossed the problem won't re-appear then.by Locke Cole - Grand Prix 3
Have done a search, it kicked up a load of topics regarding nVidia graphics drivers. Yes, I have an nVidia card, but the thing is I have never installed new drivers... they're the same ones I was running before, when the game worked perfectly. Hi, here's a weird problem I've had and I hope someone can shed some light on it. The problem only developed recently but it's a major issue now, since after a few minutes of play on GP3, the game will stop responding to the keys I press, meaning I can't switch views, change the display... or DRIVE. The odd part is, even the Num Lok and Caps Lock keys won't respond in tby Locke Cole - Grand Prix 3
Cheers chris (qwerty), I know it's sidetracking from the thread but since it's here lol... Some people are staying on from last year, and I've put notices up elsewhere, so we've pretty much got a full field now.by Locke Cole - Off-Topic
Hehe, gotta admit this sounds great fun I only found out about it when it was too late to join the first race, but I may well sign up for it in the near future! I have a fair few downloads to make yet though... most notably that 2003 season mod. P.S. IMO Steve's BAR would never have made that corner without a collision if the Toyota & Williams hadn't hit each otherby Locke Cole - Off-Topic
Alright, packaged and posted Co-incidentally, there are options to either take over an existing team (as Josh is doing) or start your own. This second option means that you don't start actually managing until next season. The reason I'm looking for new managers so early is because the driver bids for next season are bound to start shortly.by Locke Cole - Off-Topic
Tax Dodger, the basic concept certainly looks similar But without knowing how you run the game, calculate performances, etc. I can't say for sure. Fancy a team in FDevil 800? It'd make a change for you to be running a team rather than running the Championship. Similarly, I might be interested in an ERL S14 team if there's one going.by Locke Cole - Off-Topic
OK, I've sent you off the necessary stuff... Anyone else? *Tries to keep thread at the top*by Locke Cole - Off-Topic
I don't tend to race at Monaco or street circuits, no. The races can get predictable when you're the only one overtaking. I sense a little hostility in that post JackiMatra... please refer to the line which says 'a great single-player track, graphically very nice and CC-line excellent'. There's no problem with the way the track has been made lol, there's no overtaby Locke Cole - Grand Prix 3
Greetings to all. For the past 3 years I've been running an F1 Manager game using GP3 to simulate the races and GP3Edit to input the performances, etc. The game runs via e-mail and has been a great success, but now most of the people who have been involved in the game over the last 3 years (college & uni students) have opted to 'retire' from the game due to not being able toby Locke Cole - Off-Topic
CC Overtaking is a major issue with 90% of all tracks released. Before playing a circuit I watch CC-only races to see whether they overtake... if they don't, I don't keep the track. Once again Roberto, a great single-player track, graphically very nice and CC-line excellent But as with the real Denver, overtaking is scarce.by Locke Cole - Grand Prix 3
