I've only recently discovered F1C and I'm at sea in the Downloads section, what would you recommend as the 'must-have' downloads? (I have RH2003 mod)

Cheers

Prozac V3 tyres
Tantra's track updates
Engine and driver performance updates by F1 Fan, but they need tweaking, or else you'll have some wrong stuff.

download serial mikes/jp version 2 tracks, if your on cable its easy, if your on dial up then its a pain, his version 3 tracks are abit too much in the way of hi res and spoil it in my opinion

some of his track updates are 25mb

get them from [www.allsportgamer.com]

his tracks are high res and look fantastic

like these

This one is from Laguna Seca ( which can be downloaded via the F1RST util)

Serial mike/JP suzuka hi res track, see the tarmac?

checkout the trees on this one from melbourne

get your steering wheels from [www.racesimulations.com]

and download the F1RST util that allows internet play against other users & download tracks from there server like Donington, Laguna Seca, Brands hatch etc

get it from [www.f1rst2.com]

They're waaaaayy outta scale. Should be 1/3 the size of that.

I asked about those trees. They are made by a guy in South Africa. He assures me, that the leaves really are that big. He had made a few other high detail trees, they are all very good and Serial Mike was happy to take them on to histracks. He currently collecting some more models

Yeh, well. I havn't seen one any where, but Mika's right, looks very good. Checkout the other trees. I didn't get a FPS hit with these, so I am all in favour of people making them.

BTW, those Photo-shopped pics are bl**dy marvellous.

Tomorrow when I go to get my AMD 64, these will be the first things I install into F1C :D I fancy getting back into F1C after seeing these high detail pics. I just hope that my screwed up ripping textures disappears that I have seemed to have picked up after installing my ATi card.
