Grand Prix 4 Great to see you here, SDI!
Sorry, for the very late answer, but in the meantime, I had some more 100% races to investigate this problem with pit stop timing. The results are:
- The problem with the team mate to get stuck in the pits did not appear once again, so far. So, I hope this issue (happened at Kyalami) was just a random one-time event.
- Changing the fuel laps to be refueled durin

Grand Prix 4 In the magic data, there are these two values:
; desc63= CC random performance range min
; desc64= CC random performance range max
But, currently, I don't know whether this random value is determined just once at the beginning of a session or every time newly lap by lap. There was any user, who investigated it and wrote the result anywhere into the 17 pages of this thread. Maybe someo

Grand Prix 4 I completely understand your will to make ccCars behave different from each other. These are really great tools, SDI and other modder implemented to GP4, so far. As any user said about it: "This adds personality to the game." The slipstream (dirty air) effect would also possibly create a difference between the ccCars - at least, if you are able to make it work for ccCars (as I'm no

Hey Soutsen,
here is all you have to know about the slipstream (dirty air) effect tweak:
How to make it working?

Grand Prix 4 Good day to everyone,
after years of still using GPxPatch v4.43, now I finally switched over to version 4.52. But after my first race with it, I'm absolutely not happy with the pit stop behaviour:
1. My teammate got stucked in the pit while his stop. This is a bug that I haven't had since years.
2. After my pitstop I have been released after just a few seconds, although it should

Grand Prix 4 Wow, I just drove this circuit. It's a quite entertaining and very exciting layout! Very inspired! I would like to see real Formula 1 on this circuit.
Maybe someone wants to add just a few runoffs here and there and some more graphical objects to the circuit. Then we would have a real great track here, that's for sure ! Very good work!

Grand Prix 4 It's always great, if users are creating new tracks . For the upload, you have to use an upload service like mediafire or google drive. Probably you have to create an account there, upload it and simply post the link here.

@Hinyaldee:
In the time trial thread, there was mentioned that F1virutal would not build Miami currently. That's why they are driving at Schanghai instead. So, probably Barcelona 2021 could be the next release, yes.

Grand Prix 4 Hello everybody,
slipstream will still be a recent topic in the next few days. Nevertheless, in the meantime I made some further tests about desc45= "Temperature (degree C) - top speed only affected, minimal effect in corners / acceleration? (17 - 31)".
The question was, whether a hotter air would also influence things like tyre degredation, water temperature, etc. as one would ex

Great news to hear that!
CC-cars yielding their position much too early is really a stupid and an anoying issue in GP4 to me. This is the reason, why I recommend to set desc73= "Track sector after which AI cars stop being cautious on 1st lap" / "in-line start range" allways to zero, no

Grand Prix 4 Wow, I'm impressed by Prlanco's work, as well! I was also wondering, where this game code in high-level programming language is from. Thanks for the work and the answer!
To me, it sounds quite convincing, what Prblanco lined out about desc49 and this part of the source code. The only problem is: We simply cannot confirm these findings and assumptions in-game, so far.
Is it at leas

If I would have coded GP4, I had put all slipstream-related variables hardcoded into the executable, because in my opin

Grand Prix 4 This post is just for information only, becaus I don't want the results of testing getting lost in a different thread.
I was testing some magic data variables at Rio Oval to see, if they had any influence on the slipstream. It took me some hours of testing, but at the end, I cannot say that there is any influence of the tested magic data variables on the slipstream, neither for the play

I think you are talking about a tweak most wrongly called 'slipstream effect'. This name is completely wrong, because it has nothing to do with the slipstream at all. Not with it's length, nor with it's strength. It's simply a 'dirty air-effect' and the creater would have d

Grand Prix 4 Hello to all,
one of the very few things to regret on GP4, in my opinion, is the insufficiency of the slipstream in-game. Especially on oval courses like Rio or Indianapolis you can see that the effect of drag reduction due to the slipstream doesn't last very long (about 50 meteres, respectively 0.2 sec.). Much more realistic it would be, if the slipstream would still work of about 200 me

Thank you so much!

Grand Prix 4 As far as I know, there is no easy way of converting a GP2 track into a GP4 track. The only thing one can do is to re-build the track in GP4 Builder from zero.
Eagles Nest has to be a splendid track, that you mention just this special track. I must have a look at it right now .

Grand Prix 4 Well, the question of gigi88 was to decrease the ai speed in the chicane, if I understand it correctly.
To the track itself, I have to say, that it is brillant to drive and a lot of fun to fight with all the bumps. Also the new chicane is absolutely great!
Thanks for this track!
