Hold on, I'm confused here. I go away for the weekend and come back and the series has been stopped (AGAIN!?!?!) and now is awaiting some CSM mod which is totally irrelevant to the running of the series. Is this series ever going to get going properly or is it going to stop every 2min when something else comes up? I thought everything was going fine before. Sure we needed more race direcby Bruce D - Grand Prix 4
I wonder if they've bought any rights from the teams or Bernie to produce these? If not, Bernie will be on their ass pretty soon...by Bruce D - Grand Prix 4
Honestly I think GTR2 is still the best of them around. rFactor has definately got more content, but those mods that have been transfered to GTR2 always come out better on the later for some reason. I always found rFactor a bit arcady, but thats my personal opinion. As for Race07, well I own it but uninstalled it after I got the WTCC mod and the F3000 mod for GTR2 and dont even think about it, agby Bruce D - Other Games
Man, I don't want to sound insulting, but you haven't done much league competitions, have you? I've competed or run more than 5 leagues and I can tell you people will find ANY way to cheat and they will cheat. Its a sad sight to modern society - people can't stand to lose and will do anything to win.by Bruce D - Grand Prix 4
Yeah I used to not be able to download either, but they've changed their system on rapidshare lately so now everyone can. But you have to disable your download accelerator first and then download using standard windows download. Its still very quick though, about 15-25kb/s average. And that is the free download part...by Bruce D - Grand Prix 4
I remember not getting the careditor to work properly either, until I found that in the menus at the top of the screen there is one where you have to set where the exe for GP3 is. That fixed the problem.by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
Pity the HSW site is sooo damn slow in downloading!by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
BTW Love this carset! Only problem I have is the performances are not correct at the moment (Fisi is not the quickest, thats for sure), so I just adjust them myself before using the set. Keep up the brilliant work!by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3

Don't worry, I've noticed how often you bring out updates for the track editor! And yes there are more tracks coming out now and maybe I should exercise some patience here. I will admit that the 2005 mod for GP4 has made quiet a big difference to the physics, I'm looking forward to the final release but it seems like one excuse after the next now as far as releasing is conceby Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
I'm always amused by people arguing over physics. The only way any of us could tell if the phyics were correct or not was if we actually drove the damn cars ourselves! As none of us do... But I've always felt that GP3 felt better to me. GP4's cars feel boring to drive to me. And overtaking is way too easy in GP4. I just love the "dogfights" you can get into in GP3by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
Geez that 2007 shape looks terrible! I hope that doesn't happen. It wouldn't work aerodynamically and make the rear end terrible to handle. Again, another idea that makes the cars more dangerous than safe.by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
Should do. It just uses the results text files, and as far as I know its the same format in GP4. Give it a try. I'll try it tonight myself. It doesn't look for a exe, so it should work no problem. Maybe it won't adjust performance values, but otherwise it should work.by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
Nevermind. I knew the second I opened my trap the answer would be obvious! Found the problem and it was on my side. Now it works great. I love this utility!by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
Great Utility!! :D Only one thing though... I can't see a championship points table anywhere. How do I access it? I can edit and give points with ease but there is no overall standings page.by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
It's generaly called "lunch break" You can use GPxPatch (nice to have the map that shows where the other guy is) but its not necessary.by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
Pretty easy really. We do the same in our office! :D Just go to multiplayer, decide who will be the host and adjust accordingly. If you have just 2 players, change the settings to 2 players, otherwise use 2 or more players setting. Also, I think its TX/ICP or something like that setting. Be careful though. Always run the same car sets and tracks. We found that using new tracks had a 50/by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
Possibly! I heard mubbling somewhere about Bernie was going to start clamping down on mods for F1 games that bring them up to the current season (i.e. breaking Sony's "exclusive" rights - even though they do a terrible job with the rights as it is!). I was waiting for this site to get whacked... :Sby Bruce D - Grand Prix 4
I have a Radeon 9200SE which is basically the same as the 9250 (my brother-in-law has a 9250 and we get the same performance from the card). I found some excellent ATI Radeon cfg settings for my card at (F1GP4.it) and it made a massive improvement to my GP4! :D Ok, you have to copy the file into all the different mods folders but once you have it makes everything great. Another tip if you are stby Bruce D - Grand Prix 4
Yeah at the time I was looking for a 1982 set but I got that now :D Thanks again.by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
Too focused on GP4 to grab your fantastic GP3 Menu backgrounds, perhaps? :D Thanks for the help guys. I've managed to get hold of the ones I was looking for, plus a few more that I'll grab as well.by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
@X - For some strange reason I can't download from Hungarian Simworld. Every time I try it asks for a user name and password or doesn't work at all. :S @ Jacki - thanks for the links! :D I've tried gp3.gamer already and their GP3 side is down now. I didn't know you could use the GP3-2000 (which I don't have) versions sometimes, so I'm having a good look there. Othby Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
Hey guys, I'm trying to find some old carsets which run with GP3edit. There doesn't seem to be too many available now. I've got all the ones from this site, but does anyone know where else I can get some. Most place's links seem to be dead.by Bruce D - Grand Prix 3
Greg are you running GpxPatch with a performance file? I.E. are you running something other than the original game as it came off the cd? Reason is with GPxPatch you can mod the performance file to reduce the level of grip and power the AI have and you can be more competitive with them. That would be the easiest way to do it IMO. Also IMO you don't need a steering wheel for GP4 or GP3by Bruce D - Grand Prix 4
