Glad you got the video this time To reset GIMP to it's original layout (ie to make it look like mine): EDIT > PREFERENCES > INTERFACE > WINDOW MANAGEMENT > RESET SAVED WINDOW POSITIONS TO DEFAULT VALUES (This is something you need to remember if you continue to use GIMP. All good and valuable advice, but try this: Click on the object. Camera will probably be set to 20 (but you probably don't have 20 cameras). Change it to 0 (which I think means 'allow this object to be shown in ALL camera views) and it should work.by Noog - Grand Prix 4
No promises, but this might work for you: Open up the anim.wad file in the mod (using easywad or whatever) In the animationdata\quallfying\props folder AND the animationdata\race\props folder you'll see a file called flag.rfb Replace those files with ones from a mod that doesn't have the problem.by Noog - Grand Prix 4
Another fine piece of work. Well done.by Noog - Grand Prix 4
Try this: Open f1graphics.cfg in an editor Scroll down to line 38 and you'll see an entry like this: 0 ; Rotate wheels via textures v2 If it's 0 make it 1, if it's 1 make it 0. Save, restart game - and your problem might be gone.by Noog - Grand Prix 4

You mean 17 performance files (PFs), but the answer is no. That's what PFs are for! Learn to use PFs and you can do exactly what you want.by Noog - Grand Prix 4

Look for the section like this in your magic data file: 20 ; pitstop group 1 % (percentage of cars that will stop once*) 27 ; stop 1 (first stop will be between this lap...) 10 ; pit window 1 (and this one, ie lap 27-37) 0 ; 0 ; 0 ; 0 ; 0 ; 80 ; pitstop group 2 %by Noog - Grand Prix 4
Get CMagic4_102.exe if you don't have it. Open Cmagic and click the folder icon to the right of where it says GP4 Track File to browse to your track DAT file. Now go up to your EDIT menu and select Get Magic Data from Track File Give your MD file a name in the new dialog box. Done. You can now open the md3 file with a text editor. In that case, I'll throw one into the mix, with a track that is stunningly original, really well done and which can be extremely captivating and even hilarious under the right circumstances: Laputa. It's a fictional track with a huge tower that you have to drive up in a long, long, corkscrew (which has a strong tendency to make you feel sick and/or very bored) and later it has anby Noog - Grand Prix 4

The game only supports up to 17 track slots and the championship mode is also limited to 17 slots or less, but yes, all mods work in much the same way - so if you really want a season with 50 tracks in it, just play in non-championship mode and record your results in a spreadsheet or something. It doesn't matter where you put them, you just need to get them out of the way to be able to drop JC's .dat and .wad into their place. Then, if all goes well, you can delete the old 2001 dat and wad file for Melbourne if you want. (You will learn by experience. It doesn't take long, but these first steps are often the most difficult. And just to check, have you have installeby Noog - Grand Prix 4
Dude. If you've downloaded J Caranti's Melbourne 2014 (which is one of the ones you want, yes?), he has a simple four line explanation of how to install it in the Readme.txt in the track rar file. Just so you know, TSM is just one way to install a track, but he's not telling you to use that. He's just laying in out in the readme: do this do that etc. As easy as it can be...by Noog - Grand Prix 4
Hey Aymeric; rather than resurrecting old posts to ask the same question and/or make the same point over and over, you might find you get more success if make one new post and ask for specific tracks. Until recently gp4db.com was the primary repository but it is gone now and we've not really got reorganised yet. For now, take a look at this thread.by Noog - Grand Prix 4
That seems to happen for some people. Not sure what the answer is, but if you download this alternative installation package instead you shouldn't face that issue. For any other problems, check the information link on that page.by Noog - Grand Prix 4
Responses to second post: > even a difference that seems slight like 850 vs 853 bhp (engine power) in fact means quite a lot in the way of how one car is faster than another Yep. This is why in my PFCalculator, I allocate power on the basis of championship points scored by each car, BUT I feed those values back into the grip in a negative way to re-balance things.
