@SDI - thanks for the info very helpful! So a drivers braking point is now between a range made up of grip, 51 and 52 values in the magic data and now their perf file range per driver? Now I understand how the min and max values dictate a range before and after the ‘normal’ brake point, is it possible to tell me what the latest min distance is and furthest max distance? In short what valuesby RHill - Grand Prix 4
I can see a driver specific aggressiveness has been added, how is this implemented? Does it apply the magic data value to each individual driver? I’m just wondering what difference this might make to likelihood of going for an overtake. Is it just setting individual values that can now be done or is aggressiveness itself increased? Auto save should be handy!! Richby RHill - Grand Prix 4

Hi all, Could someone kindly tell me if this weekends track layout is available and possibly provide a link?if not what versions are available Thanks Richardby RHill - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, I’m trying to set my magic data gear ratios for several tracks in GP4. Does anyone have any tips for a quick way to set gear ratios or a methodology to find the right ‘ball park’ quickly so you top out at the end of the longest straight?by RHill - Grand Prix 4
awesome track. turn 12 onward is a roller-coasterby RHill - Grand Prix 4
That Merc is lovely, I hope you are able to release?by RHill - Grand Prix 4
So what cars for 2018 are missing, Ive seen a Williams I think (is that scratch or conversion?). That would leave Ferrari Merc haas? I wonder if anyone’s working on scratch versions that could be released?by RHill - Grand Prix 4
So if anyone does have a tutorial for conversion I would be grateful!by RHill - Grand Prix 4
I would be grateful if anyone could point me towards a tutorial for converting in that case? I can’t see anything on here.by RHill - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, Recently I’ve been looking into the desc46 value in magic data files. I use power and grip within GPxpatch and I’m looking for a way to control the player speed without affecting the ai. I think this value is the key because I have read that it affects both player and ai top speed and acceleration BUT player downforce ONLY. This means grip and power setting can be used in GPxPatch bby RHill - Grand Prix 4
okay so after a bit of research Ive tracked down that there is an asserto corsa mod by ACFL you can but that gives you the 18 cars in Asserto Corsa. My guess is these are then being converted to GP4 for use there...which can’t be shared publicly because the ACFL won’t give permission? Is that right? Next question can someone please post how to convert from AC to GP4 because I would probablyby RHill - Grand Prix 4
Oooooo nice! So maybe this year there is a chance of all cars being released? Did something change from last year at all?by RHill - Grand Prix 4
Great looking 2018 cars! Do we think the 2018 cars can be released this year or is it the same problem as last year which prevented it?by RHill - Grand Prix 4
in that case you are the man!! It's made pitstops loss times perfect for me now because i simply hand over control to the ai just before pit and then take back over just after....no advantage!by RHill - Grand Prix 4
From my point of view it’s great to give something back to the community. If the cam edit gets in the way, I think you can just hit tab until it’s off and then use the J key. I tested it this morning and it’s def a double tap on the J key though. I was messing about moving between Webber and Vettel, asking both to pit and trying the undercut.by RHill - Grand Prix 4
I've solved it... Choose the drivers you want to race as and press 'J' on the keyboard twice. this will then countdown from 5 until you hand over control, game flicks to the other driver you selected automatically and then count down from 5 until you take control of the other driver. This has solved my gaining advantage problem in the pits the ai driver the pitlane and I takby RHill - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, I've noticed recently that the player can select to control more than one driver in the driver selection screen. For example select both drivers of the same team. My question is, how do you change between the drivers you have selected during a race? So far I have only been able to do this when I crash out with one of the drivers selected, but I want to switch and allow the ai tby RHill - Grand Prix 4
Great findings. I'm particularly interested in the following CC crossover point (higher, sooner) formerly Change for drys/wets timing AI finetune? – The only new info here is the fact that it’s actually what we previously thought was the finetune value (desc77) that is driving the crossover points and not the main figure (desc76). CC only – the player car gets the automatic pit signal toby RHill - Grand Prix 4
Hi, could someone please upload a link to a version of Korea International? Many thanks in advance Richardby RHill - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, I'm trying to make sure my pitstops (the whole thing - entry, stop and exit) are as consistent with the ai as possible. Basically making sure I don't have an unfair advantage. What things should I ensure are in place to make sure this happens? Is there anything anyone does to make sure particularly the entry and exit aren't a place where the player gains an unfair advby RHill - Grand Prix 4
Link is below Basically I have the pitlane flags set how I like, but the bank description errors mean that the speed limiter works for the cc cars but the player car kind of spins weirdly on the pit entry (try it) and won't slow to pit limiter speed. Would be grateful if you took a look for me. Thanks Richardby RHill - Grand Prix 4
A bit more info on what I'm trying to do here... Basically start the pit fence begin at the beginning of the pitlane, with speed limiter on right after it. Everything is in order with the pitlane flags, except for the error bank description on all sectors up to pits begin. The player limiter doesn't come on until later for some reason, so I think it has something to do with the piby RHill - Grand Prix 4
Hi I’m trying to edit the pit lane flags so that the pit lane begin, pit lane fence begin and speed limiter are right at the begging of the pit lane. I’m doing this because sometimes I think the cc and player enter the pits and leave the pits differently before the limiter comes into effect, creating inconsistency. I can get the cc cars to drive the new flag layout correctly but the playerby RHill - Grand Prix 4
