Upping the topic for some good news The first beta version of the track, called beta1, has been distributed to the beta-testers, so that they could give me some feedback through a competition. Then, I will apply the suggestions I recieve, correct some bugs and release the result, called beta2, publicly, I hope in three weeks. It will still be far from being a full version though... Before asking my question, I would like to precise that I don't want to start any kind of controversy, I just want to understand something. If you look at the available templates, you see there's plenty of 2003, 2004, 2005 cars, but fewer 2006 cars and no 2007 car. That is quite strange to me and I would like to understand the reasons that could lead a painter not to release the tempby Gusgus - Grand Prix 4

One more thing, I just opened the .gp4 with GP4Builder, and checked the useless textures : there are hundreads of those, which makes the .wad heavy. Yould take them off and re-release the track. On the other hand, some textures are missing... But don't worry, you will soon be able to criticise my workby Gusgus - Grand Prix 4
It doesn't seem good to me, as I am a real oval fan, it's not realistic. Please, correct the banking which is far from being what it should be : 33° in corners, 16.5° in the tri-oval section. But it's not only a question of banking : you have to elevate the track so that the point which is at the inside of the track is at the same altitude at every sector of the track. Turbo Lover, you post made me get the point of the thread, thanks Well, I speak for myself : when I play GP4, it's the straight of the box game because it's what is used in a large part of the hotlap leagues. I'm also working on a track, and I plan to build two others, and i won't stop until I myself don't enjoy the game.by Gusgus - Grand Prix 4

OK, considering the votes and all the comments, here is what will be done : the CSM configurables will allow you to choose between 3 configurations : - No 11th team (only working for race mode though) - Arrows as 11th team with Sebastien Bourdais and Mika Salo - A fantasy team (not choosed yet) with Damon Hill and Mika Hakkinen I could change that if everybody flames me But I think it'by Gusgus - Grand Prix 4

@Craigo : of course it would be great if we could have 10 brand new shapes, and I would gladly paint my liveries on those new shapes, but until shapers fill in the blanks, we can only make hi-res updates. Great news about you being for the BAR and the Williams Are you still planning to make the McLaren as well ? @Hoogeveense RAT : Wurz is allowed Poll update : Mika Salo 2 Mika Hakkineby Gusgus - Grand Prix 4

I will myself vote for Eddie Irvine and Sebastien Bourdais (he was supposed to drive in Arrows in 2003). Which means the votes are atm : Damon Hill 1.5 Mika Salo 1.5 Jean Alesi 1 Mika Hakkinen 1 Sebastien Bourdais 1 Eddie Irvine 1 Bjorn Wirdheim 1 Ricardo Sperafico 1 Maybe you could chose between both Hill and Salo, MDBSnake ? Hi guys, First, thank you for your support, we hope that this project will please you. Second, I decided I will make the livery of a fantasy 11th team, whose driver are not choosed yet. And here's the best part of it, we decided that you will choose the two drivers who will be included in the mod. It should be modern F1 driver, say from mid-90's to nowadays. Time for you to vote nby Gusgus - Grand Prix 4

Can we count on you for the 2003 Mod ?by Gusgus - Grand Prix 4
@rosberg91 : see that with Jorge as he is the CSM guy here @fongu : if they made them in vectors, that changes a lot of things I will contact CTDP later about that. @Schueyfan : just had a PM from Jorge which said that 32BOBO32 provided the 2003 Megapatch GPAedia and loading screens, but we still need gridcarsby Gusgus - Grand Prix 4
