@Tom Could you post a guide or something explaining what we're meant to do with the various helmet files? Is there a standalone program we can use to view the helmet? Cheers. EDIT: Worked out that you can view the helmet with GP4 Builder.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Working fine now. Time to put on your largest set of testicles gentlemen, and prepare for the marvel that is 130R! Good luck all.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Just went to the page for Japan and, when I click to download the track, it comes up as being "2013 11 Singapore v1.0 by jcaranti _ drt01.7z" Is this a typo, or is it the wrong file? Cheers, Doug.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Time for the opinion of a neutral third-party. "I don't normally weigh into these kind of verbal brawls - I won't deign to call this a debate - but I really, really cannot see why some people have an issue. That the wheel users are having a hard time keeping up with keyboarders is, imo, a good thing. Any complaints along the lines of 'He only won because the competitiby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Brilliant drive everyone, but especially Stefano; I'm thinking that we need a special fuel penalty amount just for this guy! He is just so fast! Well done everyone, and I'll see you in Japan.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Loving the nice tight contest, less than a second separating the top 6. I was quite happy, sitting in third, looking at a first podium.......and then Javi comes along and jumps both me and Tom! I reckon I'll get half an hour either tonight or early tomorrow to try and find those eight-one-thousandths to get me past Tom. Good show everyone!by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
While I'm not upset at Tom's DSQ from Monza - it is, after all, more points for me - I'm interested about the precedent this sets moving forward. Does this mean that we will need visual checks on every lap submitted? I personally think the HOFxLap judgement of Off-track should be final; It, unlike a human, is incapable of bias. Is it perfect? Obviously not, as this incby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
So I've downloaded it, and it all looks rather time consuming to set up; Before I go and do it, is it allowing you to use your triggers as throttle and brake? If so, does it do it properly with a range of movement or is it full on or full off? Could you upload your config files somewhere for me to have a look at? Cheers, Doug.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Cheers for that, I'll have a look tomorrow.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Hi guys, I'm currently using my left analogue stick for throttle and brake - which is the setup I use when playing the Codemaster's games on the 360 - but want to change to the triggers to get better braking control in GP4. Problem is, when I set the throttle and brakes to use the triggers (Right and Left respectively) I'm unable to leave the pits as it appears that the throttlby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Well, looks like that's me done for this round folks; I'll have a poke around tomorrow and see if I can squeeze a little bit more out somewhere - I know where I'm losing the time but fixing it is the issue; might try a different braking technique - but otherwise I got nothing left. Good drive all, and I'll see you at Singapore.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Such a gorgeous track, with nice, easy to see brake markers; which are my favourite kind One of my favourite things about this competition is all the new (and updated) tracks that I would never otherwise know about. Best of luck everyone!by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Good driving everyone, especially the keyboard users; I can't fathom how you guys can do those 90 degree corners! Unfortunately this was one of those tracks where I just couldn't find a rhythm. Oh well........got a point out of it and am looking forward to the next roundby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Yay, first into the 1:19s I don't know how visible it is on the replay, but that last corner scared the crap out of me: "Alright, this lap has been pretty good, just keep it together for two more corners......ok.....one more......OH MY GOD I'M GOING TO DIE." But watching it back, it doesn't look anywhere near as bad as it felt. Thanks has to go to Javi for thby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Hey Tom, If I'm ever given a performance penalty, do I get counted as a wheel user? A little optimistic on my part perhaps, but you never know Cheers, Doug.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Don't worry, I missed in my first few skim reads; In the 'Output' section, there is a list - in the form of a line - that starts "Setup:" About half-way along there, there is the start of another list called "Wheel settings:", which shows that the last part of that section, after the ride height - which is a pretty easy number to spot in the file - is theby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Nice work on the mod Tom, just got my first lap in now. Unfortunately, during the week, I made the mistake of enjoying the fact that I've got a computer that can now run the DTM 2006 mod instead of practising with these new cars. Just a quick question; when I submitted I got a notice asking me to "Please use a frame rate lower than 40 fps." Does this just make it easier fby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Hi all, Today I got my first chance to have a run around Indianapolis after setting the laps to 200, following René's instructions. Unfortunately, the AI keep running themselves out of fuel; Their 'Status' will change to 'Pit Call' when they start getting low, but they'll turn it off about 3/4 of the way around the track.
