That's some serious work on the textures, looking at the .tex files I can see you've been a busy bunny , my only crit is to vary the tree shapes, it's a little repetitive. Great track.by ramf1v - Grand Prix 4
Hahah, don't be daft, it's trial, error, patience and Google....mainly trial and error ,....but thanks for your comments. I've upped the latest build to the Unity scene and put a couple of stacks of exploding boxes to shoot for no apparent reason until you get bored, (hint, shoot the bottom one it's pretty cool)...still working on AI that fight back Graphics quality has iby ramf1v - Grand Prix 4
Just to reassure those of you with a "poly concern" ..... here's the process I use the reduce polygon count to the bare minimum. It's in no way intended as a tutorial, just a rough outline of the process. I'll be demonstrating on a toolbox I modelled for the Marussia 2013 garage, here's the victim.... 4,808 faces...you could make a track with thatby ramf1v - Grand Prix 4

A bit of fun with Unity........... F1 Wars Beta. The AI isn't set up yet so the soldiers act kinda funky, this is just a few hours hacking around, maybe has potential ? Multiplayer Team on Team ? Cheers guys...have a shot at this, I've been looking into the best way to present 3D representations on the web, Unity is pretty cool, I've started learning it today and only had a couple of hours with it so the quality will improve. Hi guys, in order to speed up my garage/pitlane projects I was wondering if anyone has the skills and wants to paint the team skins on a new template ? My tablet is broken and I cannot stand doing this kind of thing with a mouse, The base template (clothing/skin/faces) is done, all that's needed are logos and shirt patterns. As well as using them for rendering garage engineers to 2dby ramf1v - Grand Prix 4

Yup works fine on all other tracks, afaik those errors are always shown for me no matter when GP4 crashes, I don't think they are terminal and they don't affect other tracks. edit : Looks like it was Magic data info, I just deleted everything and reset to defaults in TSM and track now loads. thanks for looking.by ramf1v - Grand Prix 4

Thanks Tom I'll give it a go once I can get my Melbourne track working again, it's decided to stop working, I've read somewhere here why it may be crashing but can't find the info, (I think mortal posted it) basically when I hit "Drive" I crash to the desktop, I think it indicates there's some specific error with the track.by ramf1v - Grand Prix 4
Sweet, thx Tom, no rush, I'm too busy experimenting with modding to be testing configs.......or maybe I just prefer meshes and textures to .ini's & numbersby ramf1v - Grand Prix 4
Your probably better getting feedback from someone else, I rarely play the game so my driving skills are very rusty (I find it hard to stay on the track without a steering wheel) and I edit MD even less Maybe everything ok and it's just my crap driving, still.... you should be able to walk past the other cars in "rookie" mode.by ramf1v - Grand Prix 4

I've noticed this too while testing, I'll do a quick race now and again on rookie with the keyboard, and I can't get close to the other cars no matter how hard I push. I'm using F1v's 2012 which is basically 2013 without a Rolex texture edit: Using CSM btw.by ramf1v - Grand Prix 4

Not much to report, I was burnt out so haven't touched the PC for a month, I'm finding it difficult to get my head back into it. I was detail modelling Airgun Frames before I quit, the plan is/was to make detail models of all the teams airframes and render them out onto 2d planes to give the pitlane a more realistic look, the reality is time constraints and lack of good reference (as usby ramf1v - Grand Prix 4
