If you didn't get a log then you don't have Debug mode enabled?by SDI - Grand Prix 3
Doesn't surprise me In F1GP it was the fastest race lap rounded to a whole second for most tracks of the real-life 1991 season.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
TomMK Schreef: ------------------------------------------------------- > But.... but.... why?!?! This has been in there since F1GP already. My guess is that it is to finetune the lap times to be the same as the ones driven in real F1.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
It's already there, but it will quit GP4 (which seems to be good enough for you): try to press Ctrl+Alt+End, and if that doesn't work Ctrl+Shift+Alt+End.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
What happens if you don't turn it off? Edit: I just read in my own docs that you can drive away earlier. If you want you can create an issue for this here.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
@PaZa8523: You have to realize each value will be increased by 630. I suggest to use this: desc126=0 desc127=0 desc128=0 desc129=125000 desc130=0 desc131=0 desc132=0 desc133=0 The other failures still have a small chance to occur because of the 630 being added, but it's minimized.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Why don't you just keep it turned on?by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Noog Schreef: ------------------------------------------------------- > Again, yes, 65535. My mistake. As for the rest, > I'm no programmer unfortunately, but it's starting > to make more sense than it did before. Thanks > again. Here are some examples: 32767 = 32767 (the maximum value) 0 = 0 -1 = 65535 -1000 = 64536 -10000 = 55536 -30000 = 35536 -32768 = 32by SDI - Grand Prix 4

I don't think you can determine the actual amount of rain during the race. It seems to be based completely on the random number generator. With GPxPatch you can record the random seed to make sure you can have the same weather again by using that seed, but that's about it. You can collect some seeds this way with different kinds of weather and later choose one of them to your liking.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
@Noog: note that desc51/desc52 and BRMin/BRMax work like a range, like the VAR values. The CC brakes more consistently if the range is small. Also, these values are signed. You can directly use negative values in performance files, but in the magic data they are represented as unsigned values. Fortunately, an unsigned number can be converted 1 on 1 to a signed number. The range is 0 to 65535,by SDI - Grand Prix 4
It's beyond my power to fix that I'm afraid.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
The desc75 value has nothing to do with hotseat. It is a real-time factor, but uses desc74 in the formula. The desc74 value is a lap time indication, that happens to be used for hotseat duration, amongst other things. The real-time factor means that it speeds up or slows down the time. So if you would time your lap with an actual stopwatch, you'll get a different lap time than the in-game laby SDI - Grand Prix 4
Yes, please create an issue, if possible with an example xxxxdamage.ini file.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
@PaZa8523: 1) Values are between 0 and 16384 I'd say. You can use higher values, but I'm not sure if that will still increase the chance. With 100% chance it's still not the case that the driver will make errors all the time, just more often. 2) Not entirely, the variation is only used at the start to randomize the power. The error chance is about drivers making driving errorsby SDI - Grand Prix 4
Yes, an extra section again, like this: Team #00=10000,0 Team #01=0,0 Team #02=0,0 Team #03=0,0 Team #04=0,0 Team #05=0,0 Team #06=0,0 Team #07=0,0 Team #08=0,0 Team #09=0,0 Team #10=0,0 Now start a race and watch the behaviour of the first car.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
I've released a fix. Quicksaving and autosaving should work for GP3 and GP3-2000 now.by SDI - Grand Prix 3
