I've added the ability to specify a different driver name code .ini file in the GPxSet performance manager. This way a mod can specify its own codes without harming the global .ini file.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
2012/2013 mode will be available in GPxPatch soon.by SDI - Grand Prix 4

I'm able to read further values from the performance file, but when loading into TeamEditor (and I assume GP3Edit too) it removes the values upon saving. So those tools will have to be changed too...by SDI - Grand Prix 4
quickslick Schreef: ------------------------------------------------------- > this is the performance file i'm using atm > > i've testzed it for free practise and qualy It works fine with GPxSet. But TeamEditor complained until I replaced the section named with , although it did load the data without problems. In what way do you see that it doesn't work?by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Gusgus Schreef: ------------------------------------------------------- > What about reading it from the performance file ? > Like this : > > First Driver=1,Michael > Schumacher,16384,512,16384,512,MSC That would be nice too, but can the existing tools handle this?by SDI - Grand Prix 4

My idea was to read the .ini and use the generic code as fallback.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
gitanes Schreef: ------------------------------------------------------- > Perhaps, you can use the custom > three_letter_codes.ini only for cases where your 3 > rules do not create the correct abbreviation? The problem is that generic code doesn't know what is correct and what is not Its correctness is defined by the rules, but the real codes are probably not defined by ruby SDI - Grand Prix 4

I've uploaded a new blue.tga that you can put in gpxpdata\gfx. It goes from 0-39 instead of 0-30. I'll include it in the next version by default.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Thanks. That brings me to another question: should the shadow be optional?by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Of course, you can add any missing names yourself. You can add both variations of Hulkenberg.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Ferrari2007, it's also good to be back (although I don't know for how long). The 3 characters are created this way now: 1. Take the first 3 characters from the last surname 2. For each other surname, insert the first character at the front 3. For each duplicate, use the first character of the first name, or the 2nd etc. until unique Examples: - Jenson Button = BUT - Miby SDI - Grand Prix 4
In GPxSAT I want to make 'S' toggle between speed traps, time to car ahead, and time to car behind. Currently, it toggles between speed traps and time to other car, with 'V' for toggling between car ahead and behind. Digital 2010 mode doesn't have speed traps, and 'V' already applies to the car positions (which can be shown at the same time). Are there any objecby SDI - Grand Prix 4
I was working on the classification but it's not done yet. Maybe I will leave it for the next version I also added race control messages. For example: And I spent some time to add more track manager features.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Of course you can dream about new features But I really meant that I'm not the one who's gonna do it (maybe someone else will).by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Thanks, I can't complain about lack of support from the community It seems to be very active with a lot of dedicated people helping each other to improve the game.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
I don't think GP4 sends a lot of data, I think it just waits for a response before rendering the next frame. As you know, GP4 has locked the frame rate for both graphics and physics together, and I suspect it has also locked the network code to it. This is not a big problem on low latency local area networks, but on the internet it will be too slow. In theory I could handle the data myselby SDI - Grand Prix 4
Maybe, but as nobody is near that area, who will notice? I don't think I know when a car is being pushed or towed away.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
The Q1 is the default for qualify. The practice sessions have other defaults, but all are configurable in gpxsat.ini. The timer is yellow if there's a yellow flag anywhere on the circuit (I iterate all cars on the track to check their steering wheel lights). Digital 2010 can be used for GP3 and GP3-2000 as well. For this I changed all graphics to TGA and with a width/height that is a pby SDI - Grand Prix 4

Yes, already did that screen: I didn't know about toggling gap to leader/front. I can add it to the toggle (with the 'stops'.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Driver name will be shown (e.g. by selecting another car or by pressing 'N'. The standings screen as you show it is what I thought you meant. I'm not showing it at the moment as it's hardly shown on tv. I'm sure everyone has his own preference, so I could make it a setting, but it has no high priority for the first version. PS: I did fix the scaling that is shown in youby SDI - Grand Prix 4
For now I only have the 5 cars at the bottom, because it can be shown constantly without replacing anything else. It's also the main screen shown on TV. I saw 3 other standings screens, but they were hardly shown. At the start of the race a top 10 tower at the left without times, and also at the start of the race the screen with 8 cars each you are talking about. And somewhere near the endby SDI - Grand Prix 4
