Don't want to nitpick but the bargeboards also need attention. In reality they are longer than those on the GP4 model and the far edge runs right up to the leading edge of the sidepod. On the GP$ car it stops far short and doesn't hug the bodywork as tightly as it should, it has a sharp angle change to meet the overly extended floor/bodywork. Hope this helps.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
That was my sole aim. Its a great car but then even the greats needed help every now and againby F1Master - Grand Prix 4
Hey, if you spend so much time and attention to detail on a car you might as well add everything. I'm just pointing out. If you don't want constructive criticism then say so. Touchy!by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
Have you created any brake ducts just above the front wing, I can't see any....by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
Is that pushrod mistake gonna be rectified? Its in completely the wrong position.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
I think the car is great but there are a few things wrong. The suspensin pushrod has been mounted from the top of the wheel instead of the bottom and I agree with a few others in that the nose is a tad too wide.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
Works now. Also works much better than before. The old server took ages to upload a page, now its pretty much instant. Good work.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4

On the subject of dahie - where the hell is he? He hasn't left the GP4 community has he? I was hoping he was working on this years Williams..........by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
Tried it and still the numbers are everywhere, it looks a mess. Any other ideas, I put the pos and ini files in the fonts folder AND into the cars wad but no joy.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
I'll try it, cheers.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
No idea but I tried to update my steering wheel to Stifflers mum new ones and messed things up big time. I reverted back to my old steering wheel when it didn't work but all the digital numbers are all over the wheels and not in the correct parts of the wheel. How do I sort the positioning out?by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
Ian Woolam has them.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
Combine that with 2048x2048 textures too - WOW!by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
After using your Williams a bit more Intweb I have a few more pointers. When doing the textures again can you make all parts of the suspension matt black and loose the relections on them, they shine far too much currently. Maybe thats an alpha thing rather than colour. Also can this be done for the floor under the nose, the diffuser and the insides of the sidepod as they are reflecting far tooby F1Master - Grand Prix 4
I think its the next evolution in GP4 mods. It was only a year or so ago that 4000 polys in a car model was classed as brilliant, now some of the best detailed cars are running at around 10,000 polys. With the increase in detail of the car MUST come increased quality and detail in the textures otherwise the shape improvements are wasted. 2048x2048 is the way forward, especially as comp sby F1Master - Grand Prix 4
Here are a few more pics of the new rear end.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
Just to note Intweb, make sure the gurney flap on the rear wing is white along with the wing element itself. In pre season testing it was blue but from Melbourne onwards the team blended it in and made it white. In your Melbourne version it was still blue. The gurney flap being that little lip at the top of the rear wing element that runs from one side of the endplate to the other.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
I liked your car Steve, thats why I want to help you make it even better. I am a Williams fan and spend 99% of my time playing the Williams car in GP4 so I like it just right. As for the tex files, I say go with your idea of 3 2048 x 2048 tga's. My comp is good enough to handle it and I prefer extra detail to speed. I say go for it and let the community decide whether it is the wayby F1Master - Grand Prix 4
As well as Button14s tips I have included one of my own regarding the textures. Its only a small one.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
This is also a good shot to show you the dip in the nose.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
Is this car available for download - if so when and where? Malaysia spec that is.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
No, Williams are a much more important team by farby F1Master - Grand Prix 4
No, I mean from the ground to the flipup. Its too low to the ground. If you look at the sidepod of the car, you can see the indentation where the whole chimney aero piece goes, the lines that are made in the sidepod. If you look closely the flipup runs along the underside of that line and in Intwebs car it is quite clearly a lot further underneath than it should be indicating its set too low.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
I'd like to see a his res Indy personally.by F1Master - Grand Prix 4
With regards to the points you made I agree with you eighth, especially regarding the front wing curvature. Overall its a very good car but I have one little point to make. Its the flipup infront of the rear wheels, I think its situated a bit too low. Here is what I mean in pictures. Its set too low. Take your eye l;ine view from the straight line that follows the cars exhaust chimby F1Master - Grand Prix 4
Where has it been uploaded intweb? I've checked here, GP4Italia and M4Driving and none of them have it up for download yet. Can you post the link if its up pleaseby F1Master - Grand Prix 4
