Nice update As said you can take any texture you need from all track projects I have participated in...we are glad if you do soby Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
The 50m and 100m boards before LaSource are much to close. Could you check this again, please?by Ruboy - Grand Prix 4

Check if textures have DXT1 format (semi transparency) - niot DXT5.by Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
most of the track textures are in the maps/<trackname>2001 folder. If you cannot find it, it does not exist. The default GP4 tracks do not have a sky dome so there is no cloud texture either. You have to download the sky-pack...import the sky dome object (.gp4 file) into the <trackname>2001.gp4 file and also add the texture to the .wad. Just follow the instructions which are includeby Ruboy - Grand Prix 4

Where ist the "Don't ask authors for release dates"-thread? It should be stickied on the very top and highlightened in red capitals...that might helpby Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
Very interesting tool Btw, is it possible to 'crack' the multiplayer grid the same way? I remembered when playing with a friend we always go the first row and all the computer controlled cars started behind us...but it would be much cooler if you could set the last positions for players...that would be much better racing.by Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
Thank you Laurent Btw, I know new versions won't be available very often in the future, but I'd be very happy if you could implement the multi-detach feature as you did with the .col file last year. It's often frustrating when a part has 200 faces and I want to detach 100 in a row of them (f.e. kerbs with two different textures)...I hope this is as simple to add as for .col filby Ruboy - Grand Prix 4

Let's concentrate on this. Thanks guys!!! I don't agree. Many of them are NOT done as they should be done. Many tracks need a proper overhaul and that's whaby Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
Yep, most important for me is the gameplay. And I see nothing coming in the near future to be worth to abandon GP4.by Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
Isn't it possible to just switch the pedals in the ingame options menu?by Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
This tool has been one of the greatest things I have experienced in the modding comunity...and it's for free I remember when it was impossible to modify layouts or make new ones still at the beginning of 2005...only updatzing graphical stuff was possile (as did Ricardo Lampert very well)...and today we can build any track we like with brilliant quality and features Thanks for all this.by Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
I also noticed that the tranisiotn between last and first sector is not smooth...there is a bump..you can see it especially at the start for the first cars.by Ruboy - Grand Prix 4

Check these values in the magic data: 1: sectors to pit in 1 0: sectors to pit in 2 20000 ; pre pit speed limit For me it works, maybe you have to decrease the pre pit speed limit (to 10000) or you increase the pit in 1 value.by Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
@Laurent: And here a problem I noticed: When kerb hight h3 is negative, the back part of the kerb is still computed to zero level...which looks weird...I always need to edit the z-values of the kerb object manaually later. Is it possible to fix that? It would be nice if the back wall would always ponit downwards and touch/cut the verges/banks. If you have negative banking you can look underby Ruboy - Grand Prix 4

Never thought that it could be tweaked that extremly...wow.by Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
Don't take everything personal, Jorge. I was just suprised becaus I set grip values so that laptimes are about 1:20 or 1:21 for 2005-2007 cars (mods) and my deault gp4 is even slower but your laptimes are so low and even turn 3 can be driven at full throttle.by Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
just wait until 23:59 brazilian time and you can be sure to get it...please remember this for all other track releases in the future before creating needless threads. the guys surely deserve a private life, too..and you're not the only person in the world awaiting this track.by Ruboy - Grand Prix 4
