I'm a fan of GP4. 2010 season will be problem with GP4 because there are 14 teams. I think it pass the limit of gp4. Gp4 only has 11 teams. So i hope gp4 will have good mod from 2000-2009. GP4, i will miss you!

Im staying right here. The F1 2010 from codemasters i saw videos
and other things and frankly i do not like it.
Its not a simulator its a improved arcade game.
Other people have their opinion, this is my opinion.

Yep, most important for me is the gameplay. And I see nothing coming in the near future to be worth to abandon GP4.

You most certainly didn't see any videos of F1 2010 (Because there haven't been any, not even screen-shots), yes F1 2009 on the wii looks awful but its by a separate studio to who are making the PC version, The wii is a completely different market to the PC when it comes to games, so I'm holding out that codemasters will do a great job on the simulation of F1 2010.

I will play GP4 in 2010. If theres a F1 game who has the same possibilitys as GP4 like install new tracks and cars, editing drivernames and drive races with 0 drivers selected then I will change maybe.

You hit the nail on the head MrRace. The ability to run a race with zero drivers selected is one of GP4's greatest attributes.

+1

As long as I can get my GP4 disc repaired, I'll still play, But until then, it's rFactor or GTR Evo for me. ;)

I see no reason to abandon GP4 just because there are new teams for the 2010 season.

I love playing the 79, 88 and 91 mods. This will continue into 2010 and probably long after that!

I havent played gp4 for over a year now, yeah the cars look good, well most of em, some of the tracks are ok but most of em are just low res rubbish with bugs that cant be fixed, the only racing game that really does give me good races is gtr2, thats about it.

Definitely not, there are so many great features, as well as very small details that make GP4 so good!

And yes, i agree with McRace that 'Director mode' is one of the best features of the game, and one that isn't really replicated with much success in other games that i have used.

As for the 14 teams, there are not going to be more than 11 competitive teams anyway (probably less), so we won't miss much by cutting out 3 teams. Alternatively, we can rotate the 11th team at each track.

the best feeling that gp4 gives me is the champioship season, all the practises, qualifying and races during the season...you just can't have similar feeling with any other f1-game!

well, I will not uninstall GP4, that's for sure. But the question is though, will I get Codemasters F1 game to PC or PS3? (Don't sure how well my comp can keep with the req's)

however, I read further up. The videos that's been shown on the F1 2009 game by Codemasters that's been released already, is only for Wii and PSP I think. The "real" 2010 game will most certainly be much much better!
